Sebastian had been hoping Pluto would remain in his dog form so that he could feed the Shinigami too him, but watching Grell get kicked in the face was amusing too. He allowed the dog to try and rid him of his leech, and quietly regarded Meirin. "Vase?" he asked, then placed it in his memory. "Ah.. I see. Clean it up. I shall replace it sometime this week." the butler said, not all too concerned.

[Alkene]

Meyrin sighed in relief. "Yes sir! i've already cleaned it up!" she grinned, pushing up her glasses. She turned and walked back into the library, placing the bouquet of flowers into the clear vase.

"Well, we should go find our seats." William mused, showing Hollyn a pair of admission slips he had obtained while she had been gawking at the crowd. He smiled. "Will box seats be acceptable?"

"Huh? Oh, yes of course but... when did you get those?" She asked, a little bit shocked and confused. When had he even had the time to do so? She didn't know. "That was incredibly fast." She pointed out, glancing around again. "Right well let's go find our seats then!" She smiled sweetly again.

History:
The day Lady Hollyn was born was the day Bernard assigned himself to protect the young girl from harm. He started out young, only being a Page Boy at first, so that he could work his way into the ranks of the upper servant hierarchy in a discreet manner.
Bernard felt that he had failed young Hollyn when her parents died and she went to get help from a loathsome Demon. It made his insides writhe at the very thought, but he could not find voice to persuade her that the monster was not needed. As time progressed he made his place firmly as the Footman of the household, a level under Butler, but suitable enough to keep an eye on his master.

Personality:
Benny can be dreadfully wicked sometimes but always uses a gentle tone when speaking to Hollyn. He is usually a very kind and forgiving person but can have a bit of an attitude when rubbed the wrong way. He is awfully protective of his master and can be a bit too 'much' at times. Bernard often takes on the role of a worried mother figure, fussing over the tiniest things. He tries to keep Hollyn out of trouble and away from William as much as he can, but that doesn't usually work since he exaggerates everything to unproportional lengths that he just gets ignored.

Other:
Bernard pretty much despises William with every fiber of his being and tries to upstage him at every chance.

William grinned, not answering her question, but lead her through the gates and towards the building where the box seats over hung the rest of the crowd. It was a large room, meant for parties and holding the VIPs of the day. He bowed and showed her where she would be inclined to rest, while he stood beside her and waited.

Hollyn smiled and walked in. She stood and observed the box and smiled. "This will be great. I'll love watching the horses race." She grinned taking a seat to watch in. She could see and hear announcements and the jockeys and race horses preparing behing the gates. Some seemed to be just walking around, and stretching and such.

William, having obtained a pamphlet, looked over the race schedual , pushing his glasses up as he did so. "Our race isnt until after these first two. The maiden and claiming races." he said, then handed it over for Hollyn to look at. He put his hands behind his back, and glanced around at the other attendies.

"That's nice!" Hollyn said, taking the pamphlet. With a smile she looked it over. "I can't wait to see who comes across as winners!" She smiled.
[I'm also trying to slow it up a bit until Alois is there. O.O]

William nodded in agreement. "Would you like some tea?" he asked, referring to the refreshments table.

Bernard, who had been sleeping in and was unaware of the hour, knit his brows together in confusion. "Lady Hollyn?" he called, searching throughout the estate. "Where could she have gone..?" he mused before frowning. "That butler is gone too.." he paused, putting two and two together dramatically. He grabbed and started jerking at his head of chocolate brown hair. "No! He's done it! That vile beast has taken Miss Hollyn to his filthy lair to devour her poor little soul!" Bernard suddenly cried, doing a strange sort of squirming dance as he frantically ran around in circles like a chicken with his head cut off.

"I'm a failure! What a horrible thing I have done! I slept-in and the Mistress has been killed because of it!" the Angel continued to wail. "I am greatly sorry Miss Hollyn! Please forgive my ignorance!"

Alois made his way towards the other owners after a quick talk with the trainer for his horse, a big black colt that was going to compete in race three.

The blonde stood by himself quietly, making no move to approach anybody.

He turned when a few other owners came for a word with him, and put on a false smile to appear somewhat friendly.

Oh if only they knew his true personality.
