Zoey said,"Yeah!" She sighed when Maria said she hadn't seen her mother. "Maybe she thinks I'm still mad at her." She suggested, shrugging. In reality her mother was long dead.

I float down the corridor and up some steps to the main floor. I move through the wall and end up in the pantry. I look at the cob web encrusted shelves and move farther into the back. I notice some food stocked in part of the pantry and curiously read the labels.

Maria smiled down at her and giggled softly at her patting her back gently "hunny I think your mom has moved" she said softly
