Jet saw Evan fall and he raced letting Evan fall on him. "If you die,i die" He said painfully as he caught Evan. He layed flat holding Evan close.

Evan narrowed his ice blue eyes as he shot from his hiding spot in the bushes, his pawsteps thrumming towards the edge of the cliff. Without thinking, he gave a fierce cry and hurled himself over the edge after Kohana and Ryuu, churning his paws in the air. As the Alpha loomed over the two pups, he grabbed them by their scruffs and snapped his neck back, sending them flying back onto the safety of the ledge. His howl of determination soon became a shriek of horror as he was sent plummeting down towards the dark woodland below. Evan squeezed his eyes shut, awaiting his death. At least I'll die saving someone else... he thought, for alas; that was truely all Evan ever wanted.
As the Alpha came in contact with the snowy ground, a sickening thud echoed through the trees. Large flurries of snow was sent skyrocketing upwards, coming back down to shower Evan. Every fiber in his being was screaming in agony as he lay sprawled atop the forest floor, his blur orbs glimmering. Night had crept over the skies, and the full moon cast a silver light onto the dying Evan. He tried to move himself, but alas to no avail. Finally, he just stopped fighting and waited patiently for death to quietly slip up on him and mercilessely take his fighting soul...
Suddenly, Evan strained his ears as he felt a body under him and he groaned, shifting his gaze downward. Horror struck through his aching body when he realized that he way laying atop Jet. "If you die, I die." he whispered, his green orbs glazed over with pain. Evan flattened his ears and licked his mate. "No, Jet, you weren't supposed to die with me!" he coughed, tears beginning to roll down the Alpha's cheeks. "I chose to save Kohana and Ryuu and sacrifice my own life, Jet. I want you to live on, rule Kaibutsu and make me prouder than I already was." His ice blue orbs were glazed with sadness. "I love you, Jet."

Eli is very playful. He lives for anything fun or remotely adventurous. He always takes the hard way out, and never backs down. When he's thrown down, he only rises stronger. However, he's quite stubborn and won't give up on anything. Given the chance, he'll take any challenge with a confident and cocky attitude. He could be considered a bit self-indulgent, but he actually puts anyone way before himself. Adri can be very hot-headed, and when he's in a bad mood, the best thing to do is probably to stay away.

Although, Eli is very strong-willed and normally quite good at hiding his emotions. He nevers shows any slight hint of fear, and acts as though he doesn't even know the meaning of the word. He's head-strong, not to mention very steel-willed. Perspectively, he sometimes sees things as much larger than they actually are. He can't stand to see an animal nor a girl treated badly, and will step in and put a stop to it.

No matter how immature and emotionless he may seem, Eli actually can be very serious, sweet, and sensitive when he finds a necessity. He often hides his emotions to keep himself from being hurt, and when faced with a question about his feelings - such as, "how do you feel about me?" or the like - that he doesn't want to answer, he'll evade it with jokes, or he'll simply change the subject. Though he seems totally confident and flawlessly sure of himself all the time, you can catch him when he's nervous or anxious; However, this is very difficult, because very few people know what to signs to look for. When he gets angry, the best thing to do is to definitely stay back, because he can get violent, and when in battle, he is extremely lethal and uses deadly, precise striking to kill his target.

A pained chuckle escaped Evan's throat and he shook his head, wincing as pain shot up his neck. His breath was coming out in wheezig gasps, his jet-black flank barely rising and falling with each breath. In the back of the Alpha's mind, he knew that with each passing moment he was just a moment closer to death. A small smile spread across Evan's face and he gazed down at Jet who lay crushed beneath him. But at least I got to die with the one I love. he thought, taking in a large shuddering breath.
Tears cascaded down Evan's cheeks and he pressed himself against Jet in a loving gesture. To be honest, he didn't want to die yet. He wanted to live with Jet and rule Kaibutsu, he wanted to wake each day next and fall asleep with the one he loved, he wanted to watch his Pack thrive under his watchful gaze. Sadness overflowed Evan and slightly worsened the pain as he fought to keep his eyes open. I never even got to raise puppies with Jet yet... he thought sadly, letting a single tear roll down his cheek and fall onto Jet's face. His breaths gradually grew weaker, and Evan managed to choke out a few words, "I love you, Jet."
Finally, Evan took his last breath and his flank stopped moving. His eyelids fluttered closed, never again to open and reveal those ice-blue eyes of his. The wind blew at Evan's jet-black fur, causing it to whisk and dance. For a moment, the cold night breeze almost made it seem as though Evan's flank was still moving, but it was not. The great Kaibutsu leader had finally fallen.~

Jet refused to move after Evan had died. He lied crying and snuggling Evan. He refused to be without Evan.
