Tristan awoke and sat up, blinking the sleep out of his eyes. The Mightyena stood, then padded out of his den. Another day, another battle.. He thought, sleeply smiling as he walked to he river for his usual morning drink.

Trinity ran out side of her den laughing running through the fresh grass. She felt the small spray of water from the rainy day last night. She looked around, she found Shella chasing her. Her horn lit up and she sent a wave that knocked Shella down. Trinity ran disappearing into the trees. She felt the slightly muddy sand flooring as she ran. The river was near by. She splashed through the water to the other side throwing another wave from her horn to Shella just appearing at the side of the river.

Shella took the blast of the horn unseen except by Trinity. She sat down and called it end. She was tired of running to get at Trinity. "Your good." She admitted and took in a deep breath of the cool air enjoying the nice breeze.

Tristan walked into the river, enjoying the cold water soothing his wounds from the battle with the Houndoom yesterday. He sunk into the water, exhaling. He slowly began to float downstream. He eventually came upon the part of the river Trinity was at. Opening his eyes, he relaized the change of envirement. He quickly stood and sighed. Seeing Trinity, he walked/swam over and said "Hey Trinity."

Trinity turned and saw Tristan. She was shocked, "Oh, hi! Did I splash you? Sorry." She wagged her fur and it all untangled. She turned and saw Shella smirking and walking away. Trinity turned back to Tristan feeling the lovely breeze and the wet river water warm o her face.

Shella walked back to the cave, Trinity could deal with Tristan. She knew they had some sort of connection. Shella came to the entrance of the cave. She grabbed a few sticks and mud and rubbed it between the rocks to fill in the holes with light and that were loose.

"No, its fine. I needed to get my head wet anyways." Tristan said, smiling. "How are ya?" He asked, sinking back into the water as he did before, except planting his feet.

Trinity giggled, "Good as ever, Shella has been training with me and I know the best moves!" Trinity was now leaping around enjoying herself and splashing in the water excited to tell Tristan about her training.


Shella lay down next to Mooni and heard her squeal with delight as Shella entered. Mooni was only a few years old.
