Rush sniffed, looking calmy up at Starpaw, even though she was puffed up and had insulted her. This tom knew better ways to make a cat mad. "I'm so glad that you thought this through, little cat. I can't leave if you are pinning me to the ground," he told her calmly. He looked over at Spiderfrost then back to Starpaw. "So if you can kindly let me up, mousebrain, I will gladly leave this stinkhole." He used the same calm voice that he had used before, but he had used a few more insults than he normaly would. These cats were upsetting his stomach. He had just eaten and would prefer a nap rather than a confrontation.

Starpaw looked at him, "Fine, but I will watch you untill your drowning in the river," She paused, "In the mountains! Never come here again, or I'll shred you, Fox-brain!" She hissed, and jumped off of him. Ready to do everything possible to get the ignorant tom out of her territory, but wouldn't dare tell him that she was a medicine cat apprentice. What would he say, or do? For all he knew, Spiderfrost could be the leader, or her mother or something, and it was staying like that.

Rush stood up and shook his pelt out. "Well, goodbye little cat, bigger cat," he said, nodding to Starpaw and Spiderfrost and turning around. He leapt up on the rock and looked back. "Thanks for the mouse," he said, giving Spiderfrost a smile that could have meant anything before he leapt off the other side of the rock and dissapeared through the trees, going at a slow trot.

Starpaw looked at him, and hissed. He got in her fur, but some how seemed farmiliar. She didn't get it, she never knew her father, and she didn't have a brother, and no one is like that in the clan, who was it? Dumbfounded, she looked at him, hoping he acually wouldn't go, and stalled, "Why were you here anyways?" She hissed, but was gasping on the inside. Why'd I do that!? She spat in her head, but felt relieved, why was she happy with his presence? He was like tick, who wanted a tick back?

Rush stopped and turned. "What?" He asked, then looked at Starpaw. "I was hungry and tired. Now I'm just tired, so I will leave and go find a peaceful place to sleep," He said, getting a little annoyed. One moment she wanted him out, now she was trying to get him to stay a little longer? Some cats.

Starpaw looked at him, and rolled her eyes. Not at him, but herself. SHe was being rediculas. "Do..." She hatted herself for this next question. "Do you ever wish to join a clan? Or, I mean.." She paused akwardly, "It's raining really hard, you like sleeping in a down pour?"

Spiderfrost shook her head at her apprentices awkwardness and struggled up to the now slippery rock, but gave up annoyingly after she slipped a few times. She checked her wounds then turned to Rush.

"What my apprentice is trying to say is that have you ever thought of joining a group of cats called a clan?"
