Teala took a quick drink from the water bottle, pulling a face as the water hit her tongue. It had a strange fragrance in it, the kind which went straight up your nose and hit you like a wall. She tucked it into her backpack again and, after a quick rest, swung the backpack onto her back. She opened the door into a room and, after glancing to see if there was danger, entered. The whole room was full of bells hanging from the ceiling; brass, gold and silver, all shapes and sizes. Reaching up she tapped one gently, smiling as a gentle tone filled the room.

Piper was sat on a plush armchair, watching a couple of wood geckos scamper across the wall in front of him, their feet tapping a rythm on the wood He leant back in the soft cushions, glad for this moment of peace in all that had happened since he had been in the library. He had been attacked by a group of insects, stalked by a strange grey creature and fallen into numerous traps that ended with him falling down holes most of the time.

Kia stood outside the library door, her hand on the handle but she did not turn it. What was inside? What would happen? Then she scowled to herself, what does it matter? I'm going to die anyway. Kia took a deep breath and opened the door, a loud creek sounded and she looked inside, there was along dusty corridor, it was ill lit and it looked abandond, curious, Kia stepped inside. Suddenly she heard a loud crash and jumped then looked behind her, the door. In a frenzied panic Kia grabbed the door handle and pulled as hard as she could, but it would not open. She beat her fists on the door and shouted to let her out, on one heard, on one came. In the end she sunck to the floor, tears pouring from her eyes and she turned to face the corridor.

Teala heard a sound and jumped up quickly, putting her hand to her belt where the kept her knives. One too short to do much damage but sharp, one long but very blunt. Cautiously, she opened the door she had come through and looked around. Seeing nothing, she began went through another door and looked around again, nothing.

After she had composed herself Kia stood up and wandered causiously down the corridor, her steps making tiny tapping noises. She passed doors but was too afraid to look inside them. The corridor looked like it was getting longer, "When does this thing end?" She mumbled to herself and kept walking, she could hear small creaks behind her, like someone was following her but every time she looked, no one was there.
