"I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not." Desdemona said. "Maybe I'll skip this class." she sighed.

Alex flipped his bangs out of his eyes and started walking to the room. He smiled, blushing faintly as he thought about rooming with a very good looking guy.. He chuckled and walked into the room.

Lance looked at Des with confused eyes. "How is it not good that Luna's in your class?" He felt offended that she didn't like his best friend. Lumina was practically his sister.

"I never said it was a bad thing, I just don't know her." Desdemona shrugged. "I'm sorry if that was offensive. I'm not too great with new people."

Xavier watched the boy curiously for several moments. He didn't see anything strange about him, was he human? Or did he have some hidden power? If he was human, Xavier knew he wouldn't be able to develop even a friendship with him. "Thank you." he said, setting his stuff down on the empty bed and looking around the room. "Do you mind..?" he asked, gesturing to his dog, which was still caged but shifting uncomfortably.

Alex chuckled. "I love dogs. Let em out! Maybe him and Spot will get along just fine." He pointed to a small lump in his blanket. He uncovered the little puppy. Spot then jumped up playfully and wagged his tail.

Lance looked at Des with begging eyes. "At least try to be friends with her. She's a really cool girl once you get to know her." His green eyes shimmered slightly.

"I will, I will." Desdemona said, her red eyes meeting his. "I'm sure she's nice." she continued walking until she reached the Math classroom. "Well, see you later." she said.

Xavier smiled softly at the boy, then bent down to open his dog's cage. With all the speed greyhounds are famous for, it bounded out, not at all deterred by the fact that it only had three legs. The dog immediately set to sniffing around the room, and Xavier watched him with amusement. "This is Clinton." he said simply.

Alex smiled. "A Greyhound?" He gulped trying to remember his history. "Weren't Greyhounds used to hunt foxes?" He questioned never taking his eyes off the dog.

Lance stopped Des before she went into the class. "Thanks Des.. I mean it.." his green eyes grew brighter as he stared deeply into her eyes. "It means a lot."

"No problem, Lance." Desdemona replied, smiling. "I'll tell you how it went after class, okay?" She paused for a moment before giving him a brief hug. "Bye." she said, letting go and sitting down in the classroom.

Lumina was a seat in front of Desdemona. She was jotting down notes that the teacher was writing down, half asleep. She would keep putting her head down when he wasn't really talking and dosing off. Math wasn't one of her favorite classes..

Lance went on to class, thinking about Desdemona and Lumina getting along. He sighed as he walked into the class.
