James heard her hissing and looked back to see her paw caught on a tree root. He trotted beside her foot "Let me get that," and chewed at the tree roots. After a good bite or two the root snapped and he looked down on it, it was pretty big. He looked up through the canopy of the trees leaves and smiled. "We aren't to far."

**she didn't know what to say as he offered his help. She felt bashful and stupid around this alpha. Like a newborn pup fumbling on clumsy paws. She flinched a little as the root snapped, her back paw throbbing once more.** Thank you...**she hadn't spoken the entire way, but she could at least manage a 'thank you'. Her forest gaze again fell on the male, admiring him in every way. She blushed slightly and tore her eyes away, waiting for him to continue or mock her stupidity**

James locked her gaze for a moment as she stared at him, she had dull green eyes, probably from the darkness. He grinned slightly "Your talking again." He said thoughtfully. As she snapped away he walked past her to continue to lead the way once more. As soon as they broke through the trees, the cabin was a warm welcome home and he could scent Aden's smell. He must have left for school.

His voice was strong and yet gentle and it made her head spin** you idiot! stop eyeing him like a steak!...**she growled to herself, turning to follow him. She limped up next to him and stared over the cliff. The cabin looked quite homey and her nose twitched at the scent of others**

Meghan Wolfbane

They had soon made it to school with minutes to spare as she waved goodbye to her father and watched him drive away. Slowly her wave stopped and she turned to look at her new school with a grimace, "Great, new school means new mean girls." She sighed "And as usual Meghan, you punch their face to say hello..." She chuckled to herself at her own joke, she did have a bad habit of talking to herself but that was sometimes the only thing she could do to keep up her spirits. Walking through the school doors she quickly made her way to her classroom and took a seat near the middle. Hopefully this school would not be like the last few, she would hate to be cast as an outsider again.

Aden Kross

Aden had made ground quickly as he trekked off to school. With swift speed ,he was there in under five minutes, and scanned the school grounds that he loathed. This was the only place he had to tolerate vampires since a few were classmates. Pushing his hand through his bangs he gave a heavy sigh and tried to keep his stress from causing him such discomfort. Normally he would tare the throats out of any vampire who dared come near his old alpha's territory, but here he had to cope with being normal with the other students and protecting them from the creatures that could easily take their lives. A low growl filled his throat, but he pushed it back as he entered the classroom. A new face caught his eye but other then that life was normal as ever at the school. 'Probably just some new girl trying to fit in...' he thought to himself as he took his usually front seat and leaned back in his chair with arms crossed. All he had to do was get through the day like any other and he could rush back to his own territory and make sure none of the filthy bloodsuckers had trespassed.

James looked back at her before walking up to the front porch and transforming out of his black pelt. The transformation was quick as his hair was on top of his head and his paws grew into fingers and palms. He had a pair of jeans on but his shirt was up in his room, the only thing that didn't rip to pieces was his jeans. "You can take a shower, and i'll make something to drink." He told her with a small smile. He opened the door and took a jacket off a hanger and slipped it on, zipping up the front. He stood in the door way, waiting for her.

Mary Norman

Mary was asleep before the sound of teh bell ringing jerked her awake. A blonde beside her looked at her like she was crazy and Mary just rolled her eyes and took her notebook out. A unfamiliar face caught her attention as she looked across the row, two seats in front of the blonde snob, was a new face. For a second, she thought she had a chance to make a friend. But who would want to be friends with some shy girl? She sighed and started writing.

Anthony White

Anthony was in the back of the classroom, looking out of the second story window. He could see Aden enter the room and sat down with a bored expression. A new girl caught his attention, her new blood making his nostrils flare, unnoticed, as he tried to smell the blood under the skin. He grinned slightly, that werewolf would have been at his throat if he had make it more obvious then just a sigh.

Meghan Wolfbane

The bell rang sharply overhead indicated that school had started and that she was now caught here till the end of the day. She put her head on her hands, trying not to let her displeasure show as she scanned the room nonchalantly. She noticed the the tall individual in front of her he seemed to be like the lone wolf of the school, as he appeared to be far too old for the class. Brushing her gaze farther back, she was able to get a nasty stare from a blond as she knew immidiately that it was the female sign for 'I don't like you'. She rolled her eyes to the blond and made it obvious to her she did not care for her either before she took in the rest of her class. An intense feeling passed over her as she felt herself being watched, she tried to see where it was coming from without being too noticeable. There, in the back, a pale skinned individual with stunning eyes. She felt her gaze lock and for some reason could not pull away as she knew it was apparent that he noticed her. Her blood beat fast as she stared back at the very handsome man before quite a loud *smack* hit her desk. "Ms. Wolfbane, please pay attention in my class. I don't care if your new or not so I will only say this once, pay attention or be excused from this room and to the principles office." Meghan stared up at the rather sharp woman before her. She was somewhat glad that she had embarrassed her in front of the whole class as her head felt a bit fuzzy from locking eyes with the man. "Oh uh, yeah. Sorry, it won't happen again." The teacher narrowed her beady eyes before taking her ruler away "See to it that it doesn't." Meghan gave her a nasty face as the tacher turned her back and walked to the front of class. She also noticed that every student was now snickering behind her back and pointing to the new girl. 'Aw great. Way to go Meghan, first impressions are always great when you make the teacher angry...'

But even though she tried to pay attention she could not get her head to focus. All she could see were those deep hazel eyes that seemed to be a look of longing...or maybe hunger would be more accurate...Soon they were divided up into groups for a small lab assignment as Meghan looked around hastily for a partner. Everyone already seemed to be paired in three or fours and she soon saw the lone form of a girl writing. Putting on a smile she walked confidently over to the girl and sat in front of her "Hey, you want to be partners?" She grinned to the other student and could tell she was not like the nasty blond at all. Must be the shy one which also meant she would be friendly, and right now she could really do with a friend. "My name is Meghan Wolfbane, but you probably already heard that from the teacher. You?"

Aden Kross

Aden let his mind wonder as their teacher came into the room and began to talk. His senses sharp, he knew that Anthony was in the back as he clawed his folded arms. He knew fresh blood would make any vampire drool ,and he gave a quick sharp glare towards the back, as he suspected the bloodsucker to be eyeing the new fresh meat. It seemed he was not the only one to notice as the teacher walked slowly to the back and slammed her ruler upon the new girl's desk. This earned a surprised but somewhat dazed look as Meghan was lectured by the teacher. Aden simply listened as she was chastised and they were soon thrown into a mad dash to find partners. Rolling his eyes, he refused to get up and instead began to work on the lab on his own. It was fairly easy and he had little trouble with science as everyone began to work. However, he kept a close eye on Anthony while scanning back to the two girls that were now conversing in greeting. Perhaps it was best to keep an eye on the two for their own protection. Nothing better then having a guard dog keep watch when vampires were about. Looking back to the two, he made sure to catch their eyes and gestured for them to come over to his table. "Hey, you two. Why don't we all work together in a group." He gave them both his puppy dog eyes that were both welcoming and charming just the same. "It's no fun being new and alone and I'm sure the three of us can work faster together." He truthfully did not care about the lab, but also did not want Anthony to get in a group with them either for their own protection.

**Taz followed him up to the porch and watched him closely. She couldn't help but stare as he shifted, admiring how easily it came to him and how the scent of the pines still lingered on his skin. She glanced around nervously before she began her transformation. Her fur turning in to semi fair skin and chocolate brown hair, slight waves at the ends along with a red streak on her bangs. A black jacket appeared on her shoulders, red trim in the inside along with a furred hood. She stayed embarrassed to change even as her jeans and shoes appeared, staring down at the floor**
