Welcome to the dance academy of your dreams! Here you will share a dorm room with a roomie of the same gender, and you will have your academic classes, but will mainly be focusing on dancing. If you dance your heart out like we expect from you, you will more than likely make it as a professional dancer, and become famous through dancing. We expect to see you at 7:00 AM sharp on Monday morning.

Sparrow is an extremely outgoing, fun-loving, and friendly girl. She's always the first to strike up conversation with some random person and loves to meet new people. She's very energetic and absolutely hates to sit still; Sparrow is always in motion somehow, be it jumping up and down, tapping her hands on a table or desk, or, of course, dancing. She also refuses to sit in a chair normally; she has to have her knees pulled up towards her chest. She's rebellious and has gotten herself into trouble several times. She just hates being told what to do. She has a sarcastic, self-depreciating kind of humor. Sparrow, like anybody, has her occasional bad days. On those days, she prefers not to talk a lot.

On June Seventh of 1995, a little girl was born prematurely to John and Catherine Hollis. Their first child spent the first three months of her life in a hospital in Melbourne, Australia. They named her Abigail, meaning rejoice. They called her Abby until she was seven. At the young age of three, their daughter requested to be put in ballet lessons after watching a performance of The Nutcracker on TV. Two years later, their second child, Christopher, was born. Two years after that, when she was seven, Abigail fell during an on-stage performance, injuring her ankle. That day is Abigail's favorite memory for the following reason.
Her father went to her backstage and found her crying in the dressing room. "Abby, honey, are you hurt?" he asked.
"Just my ankle," she said through the tears. "I can't leap. Everybody else can but I can't. I always fall."
"Everybody falls sometimes," her father assured her.
"Birds don't." Her father paused before replying.
"They don't," he agreed. "Not unless they've hurt one of their wings. Do you remember that sparrow we found last year?" Abigail just nodded. "That sparrow had a broken wing, remember? And you took care of it until its wing was all better. And then it learned to fly. You're like that sparrow."
"But I don't have a broken wing."
"Not a real wing, maybe. But you're still like the sparrow. You just need to learn to fly."
And that she did. Abigail continued on with ballet, and quickly accomplished her goal of becoming the sparrow. She did in fact learn to fly, and she has been called Sparrow ever since. When anybody asks, she just says it's simply because she can fly. She only shares the memory with people very close to her.
When she was ten, Sparrow's family moved to America. Less than a year later, her younger sister, Katelyn, was born. Sparrow continued with ballet at a different academy before coming here.

Christian is very spontaneous and nearly impossible to predict. One day he'll have a sort of quiet, dark humor and the next he'll show up out of nowhere laughing over something completely stupid and pointless. When he was thirteen, his mother died in a car accident. Christian was the only other one in the car, and got away with a handful of scars.
