Name: Freak doesn't remember his real name. Actually, he doesn't remember many things. Many of his memories from early childhood have been suppressed. But he somehow picked up the name "Freak".
Nicknames: Freak is called many different things by his prisioners, some of them too rude to say. But the one he particularly enjoys is No-Face, due to the black mask he always wears. Others include Demon, Monster, and Dictator.
Gender: Freak is very much a male. Even with his mask and cloak, he would never be confused for a female.
Age: Like his name, Freak's age is not remembered. But he estimates he is about 36 years old.
Ability: None of his creatures know, but Freak actually has a special ability. A small one, but still an ability. Freak has a bit of the skill telekinesis, which is the ability to move objects with your mind. It is not very strong, though; he can only lift things lighter than a small rock, which is why he rarely uses it.

Hair Color: Freak's hair is a dark brown color, so dark it is sometimes confused as being black. He grows it out to touching the bottom of his chin.
Eye Color: Freak's eyes are nearly the same dark brown color as his hair, but just a bit lighter.
Height: Freak has never cared much about his height. In fact, he has never been measured. But he estimates that he is around 6 feet 5 inches tall.
Weight: Freak's weight is just like his height; he never really cared. He thinks he weighs about 180 pounds.
Skin Type: Freak is fair-skinned and very pale. He is so pale that he is sometimes compared to a ghost.
Body Type: Freak is somewhat tall and skinny. He is also slightly muscular.
Body Modifications or Scars: Freak has several scars stretching across his face. They almost look like the scratches a cat's claws would make. They stretch across his forehead and in some places on his left cheek. These scars are one of the reasons that he wears a mask.

{The Inside of Me}

Personality: When Freak says he's not a monster, he really means it. He really thinks that by doing this, he is helping to save the world.
Freak is probably one of the most socially awkward people you will ever meet. He becomes very nervous around people, even his creatures. He stutters very often, and never knows what to say. His sentences are sometimes just a jumbled mess of confusing words. It is mostly because of the abuse he endured as a child, even though he doesn't remember it. He is afraid that if he says the wrong thing, there will be dire consequences, as there always were with his father. His fear of failure rules many aspects of his personality and his life.
Although he is socially awkward, he is very good at getting what he wants. He has a subtle persistence to him that has helped him throughout his life. And although he isn't good with words, Freak is a great manipulator. He does it all the time, so much that he sometimes doesn't even notice it.
Freak is, although a bit crazy, extremely smart. If history hadn't written itself the way it did, Freak could have been the next Thomas Edison. His mind works in a way different than everyone elses does, running at 100 miles a minute, constantly thinking about problems and how to solve them. If he didnt' have so many social issues, then he could solve a lot of people's problems.
Also, Freak is a very compassionate and loving person, no matter how he may seem. He only does this to the creatures because he thinks it will save the world. He tries to treat them with care and respect, but most of the time, his words come out wrong. And he tries to give them a good enviroment to live in, but he's not very good at caring for things. After all, his parents didn't set a very good example.
History: The human mind is a very powerful thing. Even more powerful than most of us can understand. It even has the ability to suppress painful memories. And this is what Freak's brain has done for him. He doesn't remember any of his childhood. But thinking about it, maybe it's better that he doesn't.
Freak was born in a small but comfortable house. Freak's mother stayed home and took care of him while his father worked. Back then, in that blissful peroid of childhood where nothing matters but your imaginary friends, Freak's life wasn't that bad. It wasn't until after he had abandonded his childhood toys and began to mature that his life took a turn for the worse.
When Freak was 8, his mother's health began to slowly decline. It started off as nothing--a slight tickle in her throat, a bit of a raise in her body temperature. But the illness slowly escalated. She eventually had to stop doing the housework. Then she stopped doing anything at all. His father became extremely concerned. She was his whole life. His everything. He didn't want to loose that. But there wasn't much they could do. She had already been to repeated doctor's visits and been perscribed countless medications, and nothing had worked.
Eventually, Freak's mother's grew too ill for her body to handle. Her heart could no longer pump the blood through her veins. So it gave up, and her body grew cold. Freak was devistated. He cried by his mother's body for hours.
But he was not nearly as devistated as his father. His father fell into a deeply depressed, angered state. Freak had to learn to care for himself. His father stopped working and never left the house. He would sit and stare at the walls all of the time, and Freak had to foce him to eat. But there were some occasions when his father grew very, very angry. He would go on a rampage that would sometimes last for hours. He tore through the house, screaming, crying, and breaking things. Freak tried to stay out of his way when he was like this, but sometimes he couldn't, and he became the thing his father was breaking.
A few years after his mother's death, the war started. His father was forced to enlist in the army, and Freak, who was then 14, was left on his own. He, like many other childen whose parents were forced into the army, was sent into the foster-care system. He bounced around from family to family until he was 18. By this time, Freak knew his father wouldn't be coming home. And if he would, it wouldn't be for awhile. And he wasn't wrong to think that. A few days after his 18th birthday, Freak recieved a letter saying that his father had died.
Freak did the things normal adults would do when they turned 18: got an apartment and got a job. There was no way he would be going to college, since his father had left no money for him and he didn't have any money of his own. Freak moved smoothly through the regular motions of adulthood. But on the inside, things weren't going so smoothly. Years of torture from his father and years of being unloved in the foster-care system were taking a toll on his mental state. His Thomas Edison-like mind was beginning to slowly cross the line into the realm of insanity. He began to spend several hours a day thinking about the state the world was in, and what he could do to help fix it. This was when the idea for capturing creatures was born.
When Freak was 29, the 15-year war ended. Most people were overjoyed. But Freak, however, was not. He could see the toll the war had taken on the world. And this was when he put his plan into action.

History: At a young age, Luna had been Freak's. She learned the training moves quickly and efficiently, even though she was only 6 years old. But, she did have her bad times, too. Once, she had gotten out of her cage, but was only whipped. She always believed that Freak went easy on her. Also, she had once stolen extra food, and Freak STILL wouldn't kill her. Apparently, she must have been special, seeing as she was a worker at the age of 13. Obviously, Freak wanted her for his 'plan'. Even now, when he sees her bandaging up a new recruit, he doesn't even whip her anymore. She has always pondered his behaviour...
