- - Akira-Chie Lucy Westbridge, is a long enough name as it is. Both Akira and Chie are Chinese names, passed down from her grandmother through her mother's side, every girl has always been called Akira. Akira means both 'bright' and 'clear', and her father chose the second name 'Chie' which means wisdom. Her name literally means 'bright wisdom' or 'clear wisdom'. She has a habit of switching between names, sometimes asking people to call her Akira, sometimes asking people to call her Chie. She's a very indecisive person.
Lucy however, is an English orientated name, also meaning bright. It was chosen since her parents had just moved to England a year before Akira-Chie was born and they wanted a little conection to the country of birth. It also means 'of the dawn', and it matches up perfectly with the time she was born - dawn on New Years Eve. Westbridge is also an English name and her parents changed their last names to it around the same time they came to England (explained in history). - -

- - Akira-Chie is seventeen years old, and loves being that age. The freedom of being able to drive and own her own appartment is just brilliant. Sure she lives in the same block of flats as her parents and they are alway checking in on her, but she gets decide the rules on her space and love that. However, when I say drive, I mean that she drives a motorcycle, after all, it really winds her parents up. She was born on New Years Eve and likes to think that her birthday is the day of celebrations, she loves it. - -

- - (If you click description you'll get a picture) Akira has a rather tall and skinny stature - she's not unhealthy, and she's mostly muscle. She's got pale porcelain skin that's free of blemishes and scars. She doesn't have any freckles or distingishing marks. Akira also has long black hair with a slight wave to it when it begins to reach her shoulders since she has a habit of putting it in a ponytail. Her hair is so long that it reaches her waist and even though she hates having hair in her eyes, she hasn't the heart to cut it. She generally ties her hair back into a pony tail or a bun since it gets in her way pretty much all the time. If you see her with her hair down, she's just got out of bed the rest of the time it's tied up. Her eyes are a gentle hazel color and seem to hold a kindness all the time. Even when she's scowling her eyes seem to radiate a sense of sympathy, yet this kindness can be pushed aside if you really rile her up.
In the case of body modification, Akira has her ears pierced, and also her tongue pierced (aparently not a fun day out) she tends to use jade green earings and a silver stud for her tongue. She secretly wants a scafold piercing in her left ear but isn't quite sure about it. She also has a tattoo of a lotus flower on her left foot, and three stars tattooed onto the back of her right wrist.
In the case of dress sense, Akira tends to stick to dark clothing with a few nice patterned tops. She always wears colored sneakers and they tend to have a variety of different laces (patterened or bright colored). She doesn't like to stick out much, but if she's trying hard to stick out she is perfectly capable of doing so. She always wears a necklace she bought from Eygpt, a simple silver chain with a feather and a heart on it. The symbolism behind this is, weighing a heart against a feather is how the Eygptians judged whether a soul would go to heaven or not. - -

- - Akira’s personality is rather interesting and mostly misunderstood. She’s always striving to become what she’s not, and attempting to set a good example to get more people to accept her – yet these attempts usually fail pretty easily. She puts up a front that seems to say I don’t want to belong to anywhere, but deep down, she wants a place to fit in.

Her mental state is debatable, and sometimes she gets over run by emotions that she works so hard on suppressing. Usually, it’s only things such as medical situations that sets off her fear and infirmaries make her agitated but that’s normally the extent of emotion she shows that sets her in a weaker light.

Her friends list is short but she seems to have the gift of reading people like open books, and not many people betray her. She does have a very huge amount of fight in her; she never gives up, and always carries on fighting 'until the very end'. When Akira does give up, it's easy to see that it's practically hopeless and that there's no chance of rescue.

She doesn’t believe there’s such thing as a straight line between good and evil. She tries to see if there is good in someone before she fights back. However, she sometimes ignores this, and pushes herself towards the natural way of thinking - if someone is doing something bad, they're bad.

Unless she's really riled up about something she doesn't tend to argue, she simply takes the criticism and ignores it. Unless she deems it important, whatever she's told is generally forgotten.

Akira is the type of girl who has so much confidence that she probably keeps it in jars in a cupboard. She is incredibly mature and independent, growing up the way she did. She hates when people talk to her as if she's a child, prefering to ignore or insult people if they do so. She doesn't take orders well unless they are delivered politely with an incentive to finish them. She is incredibly feisty and often says 'We can do this the easy way or the hard way' when in a fight and likely to lose. She stubbornly refuses to give up in a fight, no matter if she's bleeding all over the place if she can hold a sword she will carry on fighting.

She is often described as; 'strong-willed, intelligent, sharp-tongued, doesn't suffer fools gladly and very very rude.' She tends to always be able to come up with a quick one-liner or a good comeback to an insult, and uses this talent without fail against pretty much anyone. She does try to be polite, yet has the habit of forgetting her manners quite a lot of the time.

She is easy to get along with when you get past the sharp outer shell. if something's wrong, she wants to know so she can help you get through it. She loves to keep secrets since it makes her feel appreciated by someone and that they trust her.

She's able to make a sound appreciated judgement most of the time, and tends to back up arguments with facts rather than opinion. If you come to her with a fact, she'll be more interested in it that an opinion. - -

- - Akira's parents are both Chinese, and moved to England a year before Akira was born. They were being chased by Akira's mother's brother, he wanted something that his parents left to his sister rather than him when they died. So Akira's parents moved to England, changed their names and settled down. After Akira's eighth birthday however, they were found out and the family since then have always been travelling about.

Akira has never known a stationary home for more than a few months, she has throughout her childhood, been to over fifty different schools in at least twenty different countries. Her parents do tend to stay in China or England if they can, but they have moved to other places such as Japan, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and America. All the constant running and the having to fit back into a new school every few months meant that Akira tended to spend more time to herself than with other people and she gained a fasination with martial arts at the age of about ten-eleven. Over the next couple of years, as the family switched from place to place, Akira switched from training place to training place and was glad for the constant in her life. She gained three belts in her first year and slowly progressed to one belt away from her black belt in karate, before actually gaining the black belt on her fifteenth birthday.

She also has a love for running, and in the past two years has entered a few fun runs to both gain money for charities and to have fun. She just loves running and finds it amasing. She's not really one for sitting still and in the future aspires to be a sports teacher or something involving a lot of movement. - -

- - The power of Prudence is the ability to 'see'. Akira is a Seer, a person who can see glimpses of people's thoughts and feelings. She can see them during the day, as brief flashes of emotion, which causes her to look like she's daydreaming most of the time. However she tends to be able to see them better in her dreams as prophercies. The only problem with her power is that these prophercies tend to be a little vauge and misleading so acting on them tends to be a bad idea. They also cause nightmares sometimes. - -
