Toadheart watched Peachflower go into the nursery then went to the medicen den. He had done more then just collect herbs while he was out. He grabed a few herbs from the store and wraped them around his paw, which was swolen and had a very smal l spot of blood. "Rocks" he grumbled, "so hard to the pad"

Stormfire, seeing Toadheart and Peachflower enter camp stood up. His eyes narrowed in a glare when he saw Peachflower. He wasnt often in descussion, and people sometimes left him out but he wasnt stupid. When again she returned from the nursery he pointed a claw at her and yelled, "Liar! Traitor!"

Toadheart walked out of the medicen den and said, "whats going on?!"

Stormfire felt rage grow inside him and slowly the clan walked out of their dens to see what was going on. This pleased Stormfire, they all deserved to know. He growled, "Oh Toadheart! So nice to see you back. What were you out doing? Sightseeing!!!"

Toadheart stared shocked back at him.

Stormfire, satasfied, continued. "You and your precious queen have lied to all of us! Did you think we wouldnt find out!?!" Stormfire turned back to Peachflower and said loud enough for the entire clan, who had now gatherd around to hear, "Your having kits, and not just any kits, Toadhearts!!! Is that true?" The clan around them let out shocked gasps and Peachflower lowerd her head. She quietly choked out the words, "Yes, its true." Stormfire calmly replied after a moment, "And now everyone knows." He turned to Moonstar, "What do you think Moonstar? Hmm?"

Moonstar stared at her medicen cats. Her friend, Her son. What could she do? Kick them out? Where would they go? She raised her head so her voice could be heard throught the clan. "Both cats will give up their medicen cat duties untill the kits are born, when they reach 6 moons of age peachflower may go back to being medicen cat but she must take a new apprentice, Toadheart will return to being a warrior and he will raise his sons and daughters. I will go to the moonpool tonight to see if starclan approves of my decision. Now all of you, back to your duties!" The clan around her dispersed leaving Moonstar Toadheart and Peachflower. "Im sorry" Moonstar whisperd to them. Then she ran back to her den, back to the bed of moss where she could burry her head and cry.

Snowpaw, who had had no suspicions on Toadheart or Peachflower at all, looked at Stormfire in shock. Don't let what he's saying be true.. when Peachflower said it was true, Snowpaw couldn't help but look away. She had always admired the medicine cat.. would everything remain the same after the kits grew up?

Sunstripe raced back into the camp, Shadowclaw following him. He skidded to a halt and realized what was going on. I always knew there was something too deep between those two cats.. maybe Toadheart will pay the price by giving up his medicine cat duties.

Peachflower couldn't bear the looks of her clan mates and walked out of camp, again. She didn't know where she was going but simple found herself wondering around. With intending to she found herself in front of the moonpool.
No, you can't. Your not a medicine cat anymore. But then on the surface of the water came a blurry image of a cats face. Peachflower raced to the waters edge and peered into the depths. She knew what she had to do, she just hoped no one would see her as she lapped up a drop of the water and settled down next to the moonpool.

Moonstar closed her eyes in her den and began to dream. First she saw an image of Stone playing with Toadkit, then of Toadpaw training alongside Stormpaw, then Toadheart recieving his warrior name, then him leaving. She couldnt bare the memories. What would happen now that Toadheart was going to be a father? She heard a cat speek in her mind sudenly. It was stone. He said, "oh my sweet Moonstar, I love you, and our son loves Peachflower. You must accept that love is love and not hold this aginst him. Now stop being worried by your dreams and sleep peacefully" at that the visions in Moonstars mind faded and she relaxed in a dreamless sleep.

Toadheart watched his mother and Peachflower leave, all around him cats were casting angry glances so he walked back to the medicen den and lied down in his bed. He wasnt a medicen cat anymore but untill he moved his bed to the warriors den he would sleep here.

Stormfire cocked his head to one side and smiled. It was a good thinng the clan knew the truth. Even if it ment hurting his friend. His loyalty to the clan was stronger then that friendship he onece shared with Toadheart when they were apprentices.

Peachflower walked through Starclan her heart pierced with sadness. Not one Starclan cat came into view but Peachflower knew they were there. Suddenly Peachflower spotted Lightbreeze. Her mentor.

"Oh Lightbreeze! I'm so sorry!" She sobbed running up to him.
"No, this is my fault." Lightbreeze's eyes sparked with sadness. "I'm so sorry."
"No, please. You taking the blame wont make me fell beter!" Peachflower begged. "What do I do?"
"You do what I could not. Accept that your kits will never know your love for them." Lightbreeze trembled.
"What you coul...wait you had kits?" Peachflower asked eyes wide.
"I did.....but I couldn't accepted the fact my one kit would never know me. So I brought her close to me." Lightbreeze stared in to Peachflower's eyes. Peachflower stared at Lightbreeze in shock, and then realized what he was says.
Then Peachflower was awake at the edge of the moonpool. She stared blankly ahead of her then looked into the night sky.
Peachflower stood and walked back to camp. As she came into camp the first cat she saw was Stormfire. Anger rose in her heart but she pushed in down.
"Stormfire," Stormfire turned his head and looked at her coldly. "I forgive you."

Stormfire looked back at Peachflower curiously he camly looked into her grey eyes knowing she did not forgive him. "come for a walk with me" he said, and without waiting for her answer he walked off twards the forrest.

Peachflower saw her clanmates curiously eye them as she followed Stormclaw out of camp.

when Stormfire felt they were far enough where no one would hear them he said, "Peachflower, I have no fued with you or Toadheart. I only feel loyalty to the clan though so it is my job to speak wheen I find out theese things. Do you understand that?" Peachflower raised her head to answer but before she could a huge fox lept out of the bushes. Stormfire launched himself onto its back immedatly, to protect Peachflower and the kits. He yelled for help but then remebered, "were to far away for other cats to hear us and even if Peachflower tried to run back to camp she wouldnt get far with the kits she carried. It was up to him. He clawed violently at the back of the fox, leped off gracefully and striked its muzzle drawing blood. He continued to do this, attack then retreat then attack again.

Peachflower watched Stormfire fight and she felt thanks for Stormfire, who even though she had broken the code was still protecting her. Suddenly the fox lunged and caught Stormfire's paw in it's mouth and Peachflower heard a loud crunch followed by Stormfire's wail of pain.
Peachflower threw herself at the fox and clumsily clawed it's face long enough for Stormfire to regain his breath.
