|A World in Ruins. . .A Crazed Man. . .Magical Abilities|
Welcome to the Land of the Captured Creatures

Freak opened the squeaky, rusted door and entered the Keeping Building. His steps were eerily quiet, like they always were. Everything about the man was eerie. The black cloak he always wore, the black mask that covered his face, those dark brown eyes that seemed to look into your soul and follow you everywhere you went. The man was a beast. And everyone knew it.

Freak closed and locked the door with a loud bang, awakening some of his sleeping creatures. His eyes began to trace the cages that stretched along the walls and into the middle of the room. There were too many to count now. This was good. Excellent. The more creatures, the better.

“Hello, creatures,” Freak said, his steady, metallic voice stretching across the room. Of course, they didn’t look like creatures. They looked perfectly normal. Eyes and ears exactly where they should be. But inside, they were not normal. The blood of the gifted ran through their veins. They each had a power, some more useful than others. But their usefulness didn’t matter. Only their strength did. They needed to be strong. Very strong.

Freak received mixed reactions from his greeting. Some of the creatures didn’t even notice. Their faces were the peaceful, relaxed ones of dreamers. Others were fully conscious and shooting him powerful glares.

Freak paid no mind to the glaring. He understood their pain. Freak had captured them. Locked them up in cages. Put them through powerful tests and exercises each day. He had given them no knowledge of where they were or why they were here. Freak actually felt a bit bad for the creatures. After all, he wasn’t a monster. But this had to be done. If the world was ever to get better, he had to do this.

Freak began to walk down the lines of cages, his steps, once again, barely making a sound. “7 years ago, dear ones, marked the end of a 15-year war,” Freak bellowed absent-mindedly. He often did this. Spoke his thoughts out loud. He usually talked about this exact thing, which made the creatures think he was absolutely mad. “The war left the planet in ruins. The planet’s population was cut in half. Countries were torn apart; some became ruthless wasteland where man lived by no rules.”

Freak sighed and stopped talking. Even 7 years after the war, the world was still broken. Most people thought there was nothing that could fix it. But Freak knew that something could: his creatures. He had a plan. A plan that he had conceived of long ago. And it could fix everything.

As Freak neared the end of his walk, he reached out a hand toward the door. He grabbed the rusting handle and turned it, a smile beginning to spread on his face. “So remember, dearies,” he said, opening the door and stepping out. “You’re going to save the world.” The door closed with a bang, and Freak was gone.

The Main Plot

22 years ago, a world war broke out. The worst and deadliest war in history. It lasted 15 years, and by the time the war was over, the world’s population was cut in half. There was an indescribable amount of destruction everywhere. There was nothing to salvage in some countries, and they became barren and ruthless wastelands. Others tried to recover from the destruction, but never fully could. You can’t really recover from something like this.
After the war ended, a man(more of a beast than a man) who goes by the name of Freak came up with a plan to fix the world. No one is exactly sure what it is. Sometimes, people doubt that he even knows what it is. But he began to look for and capture people with special abilities, who he calls “creatures”. The abilities range from being able to read minds to being able to fly.
Freak locks his creatures up in large cages. He only feeds them once a day, at breakfast. He thinks anything more would be an inconvenience to him. They get a change of clothes every day before their meal. They sit in their cages until midday, when testing and training begin. Each day, the creatures are tested and trained, to see how strong their abilities are and to make them better. Near the end of the day, the creatures are released outside for an hour of exercise and breathing fresh air. Then they are put back in their cages until the sun goes down.
Living here is very hard. The rules are very strict, and the punishments for breaking them are very severe. Some believe they may never escape. No one has so far. Even after you finish your training, Freak is still your master. Your ruler. When he declares you have reached the point where you cannot grow to be any more powerful, you become his worker. As a worker, you care for the other creatures and the place in which you live. Sure, you’re no longer trapped in a cage. But some believe that being a worker is no better than being in a cage.

Freak's Rules

1-Fighting between the creatures is forbidden.
2-Creatures may not disobey Freak or his workers.
3-Creatures must work their hardest at testing and training.
4-Creatures may not escape.
5-Workers must obey Freak.
6-If workers are caught helping creatures, they will be killed.

Locations

There are 3 main locations: the Keeping Building, the Training Building, and the Testing Building. (Uber creative names, right?)

|Keeping Building| This building is where all of Freak’s “creatures” are kept. Large cages stretch along the walls and across the floor. The cages are cleaned daily while the creatures are in testing and training, but the rest of the building is not. Every once and awhile, someone will hear a rat or a mouse running across the floor. And there’s almost always a fly buzzing around.
This building is probably the oldest and ugliest of them all. The black paint that covers the walls and ceiling is beginning to peel off. Holes are starting to appear in the ceiling, and water drips in whenever it rains. And some of the tiles on the black-tiled floor are coming off.
The keeping building is heated and air-conditioned, although both the heater and air conditioner sometimes break and need to be repaired. There are no lights, as the walls are covered with small windows that illuminate the building during the day.
There is also a small room attached to the side of the keeping building. This is where Freak and his workers live. The room is filled with small yet fairly comfortable beds. There is a small kitchen in one corner of the room, where the food for the workers, Freak, and the creatures is made. Unlike the rest of the building, this room is kept clean.

|Testing Building| The testing building is essentially a large gym. It’s much smaller than the keeping building, but still large. The walls are painted a dark shade of blue, and the floor is a dark brown color. Unlike the keeping building, the testing building is relatively new and well taken care of. Or, at least, there aren’t any rats or flies.
The building is filled with a large variety of things. Some things are general gym equipment—treadmills, weights, stationary bikes. But there are other things that most people have never seen before. A few pieces of scientific equipment, strange-looking machines, computers with strange images. The computers don’t even look normal. At first glance, it’s hard to tell that they’re computers.
The equipment and strange machines are spread out all over the floor. People are brought to different sections each day to test, depending on their powers.

|Training Building| The training building is a lot like the testing building. The walls and floor are a dingy shade of gray. This building is probably the most cared for of the three; it always looks clean. There aren’t any windows, but there’s plenty of lights to see with.
The training and testing buildings have a lot of the same equipment. But the training building doesn’t have as much technology. It mostly contains regular gym equipment. But there are a few of the foreign-looking computers inside.

Can’t live with them, can’t live without them.
1-This is a Semi-Literate+ to Literate RP. I would like at least 8-10 sentences per post. If you have writer’s block, I would like for you to have at least 5. I’ll understand. But don’t constantly use it as an excuse. Also, pretty posts are appreciated. But remember that pictures aren't allowed in the posts.
2-Grammar is a must. Please have good spelling, punctuation, and grammar in all of your posts.
3-No chat speak. If you want to use it in OOC, though, it’s fine. Just make it readable.
4-Make sure you have read the site’s roleplaying rules.
5-This is not a romance RP. Although romance is allowed, there will be no “fading to black”. None of it. Don’t go that far. If you want to have something like that happen, take it to PM. But we don’t need any of that here.
6-You’re allowed to curse, but make sure to star it out {*} and don’t overuse it.
7-No fighting in OOC. None. I won’t have any of it. This is supposed to be for fun, not for picking fights. If you have a conflict with another roleplayer, report it to me, and I’ll handle it.
8-Please try to be on as often as you can. It gets annoying when the person you’re roleplaying with doesn’t respond for days. Also, let us know if you’re going to be leaving for a few days.
9-No more than 3 characters per person.
10- Try to keep genders even. I don’t want a billion girls and 2 guys, and vice versa. Also, have a variety of different powers. I don’t want everyone to have telepathy. Make it interesting!
11-No god modding, mary sues or gary sues, etc.
12-Please wait for me to accept you before you began roleplaying.
13-Fill in all of the form, and make it as detailed as possible. No “RP it Out”, or “Meet Me”. Also, use my form. Don’t use your own.
14-When roleplaying, please write in 3rd person. (He, she, it. Not I.)
15-HAVE FUN! That’s what this is for.

Felina Mutatino It's latin for "Cat Changer". Magnolia is a creature who can shift into any feline species,whether big or small. It only takes her about a minute to fully change into any feline of her choice. She's able to control it now. Because of this,she has a special,deep understanding of felines,meaning she's able to speak to them. It's strange,but her whole family has the same thing.

Blonde Magnolia has bright blonde hair,sunny and shiny. Streaks of light honey brown are under the blonde,giving ut a more satisfying,rustic look. Her hair is straight,and not very curly like some other blondes. The length of her hair is long,reaching down to about the middle of her back. Magnolia usually keeps her hair up in a delicate braid that sits on her back softly. When it isn't up,it shades over her left eye in a pretty mannor.
Eye Color:
Violet This young woman's eyes are very complex,adding to her gentle,mysterious look. It's hard to describe. Well,her eyes sort of change tones of color. As a feline,in a bigger breed,it's a darker violet with grey specks along the edges. In a smaller cat,it's a light lavender hue with green intertwining throughout,a cheery,happier sight. As a human,her eyes are a medium coloring,inbetween both which I just describe,with blue edging as well. It's quite a pretty sight.

Five Feet,Four Inches Strangely enough,Magnolia is a petite sized young women,compared to her family members who tower in the six feet range. Personality: Sari is extremely ambitious, persistent and determined which is shown through a power hungry, controlling attitude. Not in a stubborn sense however, because she will work for what she wants and control will justified reasons. This is obvious to any onlooker. Sari is able to re-survey a situation and take a different approach if necessary. This makes her very adaptable and versatile. She is a fierce competitor, combined with her powers of observation and her excellent memory; she can recall facts and when necessary, bring them to the table at the time of need. Sari is excellent at restoring order to a chaotic situation and is just as capable of manipulating for her own greed and benefit. Sari likes to be aware of a situation and always know what's going on, figuring this out with her probing mind; on the other hand, she is interested in the occult, the paranormal, conspiracy theories and other types of similar unknown mysteries. Sari is very intuitive, but not as in a psychic sense, more as intuitive into the human mind.
She has a fear of failure which she keeps hidden extremely well, should a confrontation not be successful, or her career fail, she will simply use her adaptive skill to quickly move and leave the bad experience behind.
Sari is a very deep, intense person; there is always more than meets the eye. She presents a cool, detached and unemotional air to the world yet lying underneath is tremendous power, extreme strength, intense passion and a strong will and a persistent drive. She has a very penetrative mind, do not be surprised if she asks questions, she is only trying to delve deeper and figure things out and survey the situation. She always want to know why, where and any other possible detail they can possibly know. The person that Sari respects and holds close to her is treated with amazing kindness, loyalty and generosity.

History: Sari met Freak about 4 years ago. They talked off and on since then but never did anything more than talking. As the war heated up, they lost touch. Sari was recruited into the war as a nurse. When an attack on the base she was at, Sari got injured badly. The rest of her memories after the attack are blurry. She woke up in a dim room. The bed she was on was soft and ice cold. Doing her best to sit up, Sari found herself tied down.
A face appeared from the darkness of the room and a flash of comfort went over her. There was the boy she met so many years ago; the boy who became her closet friend she had ever had. He didn’t speak to her or even try to answer her questions or pleas.
Freak worked her harder than anyone else ever dared to. He pushed her over the edge countless of times and didn’t even bother to apologize for his actions. Sari quickly grew to hate him with every fiber of her being. Being his toy for nearly 3 years, Sari learned more about her master – some things she never wanted to know while other topics were greatly appreciated.
Freak never gave her a set power like all the other monsters he created. Since Sari was one of his first, she was treated very differently. Freak started her with basic training of the body. Making her run for miles at a time or swim for hours to build up her muscles. After improving her stamina to be 4 times better than a normal human, Freak moved on to improve her senses. Thanks to Freak, Sari is 4 times better than a normal human in every possible way. He told her this was because he thought of her non-stop for 4 years.
Sari is able to connect to animals; while she isn’t able to shift into them, she is able to get inside their heads. In a sense she is physic, but only with animals. With people, thanks to her improved senses, she is able to pick up on any hormonal or mood changes.
