The tom padded over without noticing Shadowstar's and the 'ladies' talk, so therefore he was completely unaware of what could happen to him. He trotted up to the forest padding along the trees before his eyes caught movement and he got into following he furry mouse stalking it more for fun then anything before starting to work up seriously and getting really into hunting.

"Night time is the cat's time"

The small white kitten was shivering trying to keep what was left of warmth into his little body, he was scared and hungry. His pinkish eyes were a bit blinded by the early morning's light. He had been waiting... Waiting for the whole night for her to come back but she didn't. He had seen his mom take his siblings one by one, but she always came back to take another... Until he was the only one left, he let out a tremulous low mew before getting quiet. Something made him keep quiet, it was like an instinct.

That was in fact funny for the small kitten, he was having a 'self argue'. While a part of his instincts told him to mew loudly and scream other told him to be quiet and he listened to the other part staying quiet. He curled up tightly in order to keep warm and try to ease the pain on his little empty stomach.

Sunfur grinned at Shadowstar, a twinkle in her eye. "Let's go-" Sunfur was abut to finish the sentence before she noticed Nightpelt coming towards then. "On an adventure some time! It would be super cool." Sunfur giggled, offering the fake idea until Nightpelt passed by. Sunfur sighed. "Okay, Now let's look for the dandelions." She stated, and stood up. Sunfur didn't need an reply from the other two cats to go get the dandelions. Sunfur fastened her walk into a trot, and trotted out of camp. Sunfur was a quite fast she-cat, so she was pretty fast even while just a simple trot. It took only a few minutes before the cats arrived at the meadow. She was just about to jump into the flowers, before she came to an abrupt stop. She saw little white kitten shivering. In her eyes, she saw a flash back of her old life, seeing the eyes of Rainpaw when he was a kit. Her heart nearly broke. "Hey Shadowstar... I think this kit is abandoned.." She trailed off.

Eagletalon
The orange tabby shifted in his sleep when he heard a voice at the entrance to the warriors den. He grumbled something inaudible to himself and then rolled over, blinking his eyes open and lifting his head to look around. The voice belonged to Shadowstar. Patrol? Is it dawn already? he thought, parting his jaws in a yawn. "Well, now that I'm awake.." he mumbled to himself, standing up and shaking bits of clinging moss off of his pelt, not even bothering to check if it went flying onto another clanmate on accident. At least a border patrol would give him the chance to stretch his legs. He walked slowly out of the den, taking in the view of the camp. He saw that there were already quite a few cats up and about. Spotting a nice little spot to sit in the sunlight, he took the opportunity and sat down, running a paw over his ear as he waited for Mistfall and Quailheart.

The kitten backed more into the bush hissing as he saw Sunfur, his eyes were locked in the bigger cat (well all cats were bigger then him, no doubt). He didn't say a word though and after that low hiss he had gotten quiet, so quiet you could barely tell he was still there. He lowered himself to the ground curling his tail tightly around his small body.

Skyburst
Skyburst chuckled softly at the other she-cats excitement and swiftly followed her and Shadowsar. "Count me in!" she mewed happily, her pelt ruffling in the breeze. She trotted after them as they silently made their way out of camp. It was a gorgeous morning, the sun peeking up over the horizon, the birds chirping softly in the cool breeze. Skyburst smiled to herself as they padded on, enjoying herself although sleep poked at her. She had gone night watch and then been fine for a day, she could do it again. There was no way she'd let a bit of tiredness keep her from enjoying the beautiful day. She followed the other two all the way to the meadow and froze at Sunfur's tone as she called to Shadowstar. Her ears pricked with curiosity and she made her way beside Sunfur, her eyes widening as she saw the frightened little kit.

Shadowstar
Shadowstar blinked in surprise, and came a few pawsteps closer to the kit. Still keeping his distance, he looked over the small, fluffy, white cat. He stood about a fox-length away from the kit. "Do you mind if I come closer?" he asked it. It smelled like a tom, he noticed. He had a kitty-pet scent on him, as if he had been only been in for forest for a day or two. The kit's fur was dirty and slightly puffed up. Out of fear, Shadowstar guessed. He only hoped that they could help this kit.

Ottersplash
Ottersplash nodded at his apprentice. "Hawksight, would you like to come? For all we know you could stumble across some helpful herbs, literally," he joked at his sister. He shoved the last pile, rosemary stems, back up against the wall and stood up, facing the small black cat. "Okay Kindlepaw, we're looking for honey and horsetail. What's something we can do with those, along with some cobwebs?" he asked his apprentice. It was a moderately difficult question, but he was almost sure that Kindlepaw would be able to answer it. It was something that Ottersplash's mentor had taught him, and it was something that he would teach Kindlepaw.

Ghostkit looked at the tom talked, his ears flattened against his skull but he sot of nodded as an answer. They were cat's also after l and he was lost and scared. He kitten bad his odd eyes k. Shadowstar and watched the tom's every move. His stance relaxed a little but that was all.

He came a bit closer to the kit and rolled over on his stomach, always keeping eye contact with him. "Here, see? I'm safe," he said, his eyes flickering to his unexposed belly for a heartbeat. This action went against almost every fiber of his being. "What's your name?" he asked, still flat on his back with his paws in the air.

Skyburst

Skyburst crouched low in the grass, the longs strands tickling her belly as she watched her leader flip onto his back, biting back a snarky comment as well as a snicker. She watched the little kit, noting how frightened it looked and felt a wave of sympathy for the poor kit. It was white as snow, and had very peculiar eyes. Taking a closer glance she could see bits of pollen was stuck in his fur, as she was sure was stuck in hers as well, from laying in the flowers and grass for so long. All of her tiredness had washed away and she was filled with curiosity as she crouched there.

"Sure, Shadowstar hasn't told me to go on any patrols so I can be your warrior escort. And, of course, your herb detector." She said eyes sparkling as she puffed her chest up with mock pride, taking Ottersplash's teasing remark and pretending it was more of a compliment. "Let me go grab a quick breakfast while you quiz Kindlepaw and I'll be ready to go." Hawksight left the medicine cat den and cheerfully walked over the freshkill pile. She picked up a small mouse and sat down, muching the tasty little thing.
