The star was getting bigger. It grew. Tom's eyes widened as he grabbed on to the pendant. Why had this happened? Suddenly, he slipped it off, and the vision vanished. He lay gasping for breath on the grass. After a few moments, he got up, shivering and frightened. The small hobbit looked at the pendant, a shiver running down his spine. That is why I should not put it on he thought to himself, putting it safely in his pocket.
"Wake up!, wake up!" he said, sensing that they should leave inmediatley. He knew that when Mr Baggins had put the ring on, many awful creatures came behind him. He wiped the sweat of his forehead and tried to look less shocked than he actually was. Tom hurried over to the ponies and picked up the blankets, wanting to get out of there the sooner as possible.
((I'm working on the Gollum-like creature. The history of the pendant is on the first post.))

(( I wonder what we should call this, Gollum creature... ))
Black Nightingale felt the power vanish, but she knew the location. Clenching the rains tighter she urged the Fallen Beast faster, with a small roar from the creature's throat they sped up. Scanning the trees carefully she smelt something. "Hobbits-ss." she hissed in a wind-like-voice. No longer feeling the power she screeched in rage, pulling the reins tightly, to halt the Beast. "Shire. Ba-ggins-ss." she hissed remembering the old tails of Frodo the ring bearer. Maybe he had the necklace? "Only one, way to find, out." she hissed.

:..:The Evil That Does Not Sleep:..: Name Kzaias (originally Kai)
Race Own race in himself Gender Male Age Unknown NicknameNone, call him what you want. Son/Daughter of Unknown History Kai was born in the beggining of time, before many of the creatures existed. He is believed to be something similar to a hobbit, from a small village. When Morgoth was in power, he killed many of them off, but took a liking to Kai and kept him as an entertainment. Kai was kept cruelly, and slowly, Kzaias developed inside him, until, one day, the creature discovered the pendant as he served Morgoth. From that day on, he watched it every day, but his master never took it off. Kzaias became more strong, and when Morgoth was defeated, he took the pendant for himself.
During many years, he travelled and travelled, until he came upon an island. He stayed there, and did not know how to get back. He developed fins (more to be seen in the description) and lived off seafood. He kept his treasure safe all the time, until one day a boat of elves arrived to the island. They found Kzaias, and imprisioned him. The creature managed to escape with a clever plan, but without the pendant, and now he lives in grief, missing his "treasssssssure". He will finally find his way off the island, and search for the hobbits.Description Kzaias is an unique yet strange creature. Consumed by the pendant for over a thousand years, he is in the same situation as Gollum. After centuries of living on a lonely island, where most was water, he grew fins, his hair wore off and his skin became slimy. The creature has webbed feet and hands, and a huge fin that runs all the way down his back. Having only small crabs and sea creatures to eat (a fish was very ocasional), Kzaias became skinny and his face very bony, making his huge, watery, turquoise eyes stand out on his face. He is small, and can swim very well. When moving on land, he is much slower, as to his webbed feet and fins, but has developed a strange technique, which is half crawling and half jumping. Personality Kzaias is a strange creature. Like Gollum, he has a split personality. Once, he was called Kai, but now he does not remember anything about his previous identity. Kzaias is a cruel, weather worn creature. He is corruped by the pendant, and spends most of the time saying: "My treasssure". He only cares about himself, and lives of seafood.
On the other hand, his other identity, Kai, who very rarely takes form, is kind and loving, though awfully sad. The poor thing is treated very badly by Kzaias, who he can't get away from. Though he has a liking for the pendant, he is very kind, and longs for company and friends. Pet Himself Strengths Swimming, sneaking, being two people Weaknesses The pendant, himself Likes Fish, the Pendant Fears Kai fears Kzaias. Kzaias fears that Kai will defeat him. Other This will be a rather complicated character to RP
.
The history of the pendant is on the first page (I wrote it
)
And I might add more to the form later

Cory jolted awake, startled by Tom's cries. Normally he would have slept through them, but the situation they were is was not normal. They were already a good distance from home and were by no means sleeping in comfort. "What's the matter? What happened? Tom! What are you doing?" Seeing his friend saddling up the ponies in haste, he shook Piper awake and gently started on Rosie.

Theoden wrote:Where now are the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the harp on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
Who shall gather the smoke of the deadwood burning,
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

((Was my character accepted?))
"Quick, we must leave!" Tom gasped, not knowing exactly how to explain it to them "Don't ask, but I just know that there is something following us. I will explain later" He mounted his pony, who seemed to sense the danger and whinnied, frightened. Suddenly, the hobbit's ears picked up a very unpleasant, high pitched sound "Run!" he cried, cluching on to the pendant and beggining to gallop in the other direction, hoping that his friends were following.
