"this is the slytherin table and your a griffindor..." Snape said..although he was glad someone wanted to sit with him he couldn't.....

" why can't I sit with you if our in Slytherin. I don't think it really matters that you're in a different house" she said

"ok.." Snape tried to smile.....he couldn't....

Lily sat down next to him. "why do they Split everyone into different houses, Severus? You never did tell me about that."
(remember, Severus and lily were freinds before hogwarts?)

"um...well i think it's because it is easier to classify people..i never did know that one.." He smiled...

" oh...but why classify them? Why can't we all just be our own selves and not have to be in different houses? That's what it was like my old school." she said

"but your old school wasn't a wizarding school plus the sorting hat knows what you will be like when your older thats why i'm in slytherin" Snape frowned

"I don't think our bad" she said to severous" I think you could even be a great teacher here someday!"

(We arnt in the first grade of Hogwarts we are in 5th grade. Pluse Lilly already knows Severous cause they met when Lilly's sister was teasing her =_= )

Unicorn glanced over at the Slytherin table where Lily and Severus were sitting talking. She felt a pang of jealously but shrugged it off as she continued writing whatever she was working on.
