Arthur bit his lip, knowing that Alfred was right. He didn't want to admit it, though. He couldn't. If he did, he felt as though everything they had built up would crumble like the fragile wall it was. He felt his hand close around the American's. "And you really think I want it to be like that?" The pale blond slid off the counter, hugging Alfred tightly. Just like before, he buried his face in the other's chest. He breathed in, smiling ever-so-slightly at the scent of leather and wood mixed together. It was relaxing. "If we are both time bombs," he murmured softly. "Let's just hope we don't go off at the same time."

Alfred sighed as he his hand curled with Arthur's. He looked at the ceiling, the thought of them fighting with/ killing each other was making him gloomy. He was a bit surprised when Arthur hugged him, but of course, he naturally hugged back, feeling warm as the Englishman buried his face into his chest. "I wish it wouldn't be either, but let's just get real." he said and sighed. "With our luck, we'd explode at the same time." the thought somewhat scared him. He can only imagine the kind of fight they'd get into. And about what? He wished he can avoid it, but you can't avoid destruction when you were sent to a looney bin for killing several people with a baseball bat.

Arthur made a soft 'hmph' sound. "We don't always have to have bad luck, you know." He sighed, though, knowing that the American was right. "We might get lucky." But the pale blond couldn't even reassure himself. They weren't exactly the luckiest two in the world when it came to love, and it was only ironic that they had fallen for each other. What with Alfred's bat fueled by anger, and Arthur's poison and knife-wielding fueled by his own insanity, they could be considered the most dysfunctional couple you had ever laid eyes on. But the only thing that mattered was that it worked.

((Sorry! I had to comfort my roommate... Her boyfriend broke up with her. But nothing a big tub of ice cream and a shoulder to lean can't handle~!))

The tan American sighed. "Let's not deny it Arthur. We can try to prevent it, but people like us aren't that lucky. . . We ended up in an asylum, remember?" he pointed out and put his sun glasses back on, oddly comforted by them. "Hopefully we won't end up in a hospital. . . " Or worse, dead. he thought to himself and shook his head. He knew that if he was angry enough, he wouldn't hesitate, and neither would Arthur. He coughed. "This subject is depressing me. Talk about something else."

Romano shrugged, but kept his smile. He tried more to get under the Russian's skin. "So what did you do to him? Threaten him with a knife? Or cut him?" his eyes wondered to Prussia's wrist and he quickly covered it up with his mechanical fingers. "Looks like you actually did... Don't you know how fast rumors get around?"
Prussia gulped as he looked up at Russia.

"Easy Russia" he thought to keep cool and pulled the scarf a bit away from his neck, he glared at Romano, "who knows?" he let his evil grin come up to his face, it was an almost sly grin in fact, "That was for a vodka bottle" he smirked.

Ethan poked Spain, "will you just stay standing here?" he asked tilting his head but making on efforts on jumping off the older nation's back, "up ahead we go brave stallion!" he smirked.

Arthur sighed slightly shakily, his hug getting slightly tighter. "I know," he said almost inaudibly. They couldn't prevent anything from happening, but they could at least hope that they didn't go off at the same time. If they did, one — or both — of them might end up dead. In all honesty, that thought scared the pale blond more than he could understand. They were both more than capable of killing, and he knew that neither of them were known for holding back. Arthur breathed in, somewhat comforted by everything Alfred smelled like. "Then what do you want to talk about?"

Romano smirked. He stepped closer and finally took his knife from his pocket. "I'm pretty sure we both do. . . And I'm sure you would be the laughing stock as well~" H tilted his head. Let's see how long until he snaps. "I see. So what else did you do to him?" He looked at Prussia and he looked down. "Don't be shy, Prussia. . . I could help you~"


Alfred thought for a moment. "Well, what on earth are you going to do with 50 cupcakes? Because no way in hell am I eating even one. Again." he said, trying to find a safe subject without thinking of their upcoming fate. It was a scary thought fir both of them. I can't even imagine what would happen. . . . He tried to listen to Arthur, but his mind lingered and he looked up at the ceiling.
