Trade Rant Thread! Version 9~!

Okay, this has been bugging me for a long time and before I go doing anything radical that I'll regret, maybe I should just rant about it here.

Okay so back in December I got a moonpup on the 18th. There was a 3 month artslave auction going on where the art was amazing and an auto was the joker dog, so I went out and did this stupid trade (my own dumb move) and then madethis trade to auto the auction.

Now this may be making you cringe already but I thought it was all worth it for 3 months of awesome art. They were going to be moving though, so there was going to be about a 2 month period where they couldn't do art, but they wouldn't count it against my 3 months. I was fine with that, so we started in December. It has been five months (three months if you don't count their moving) and I haven't gotten a single piece of art, just their word that they've got the first piece sketched out and almost finished (this was said almost a month ago). They have made multiple art pieces on the oekaki since then and have opened an art shop, so I thought maybe they were ready to start actually being an art slave. So I messaged them yesterday about it.

So... hate to bug you... but it's been a while and you've opened an art shop and done oekaki pieces... so I was wondering how my piece was going and if you were ready to do any more?

The message was read adn they have posted on threads, but I have been left without any word on my piece much less acknowledgement that I exist.

Therefore, I am VERY upset, frustrated, and a bit angry even. I mean, I gave GOOD pets for art that hasn't come at all. I'm near going to an admin or mod about it and seeing if I can't get something done to help me not be so ripped off. Then I don't because I know what it is like to procrastinate on art pieces. But then I want to because I know I am like that and am not stupid enough to auction my art skills off because of it. I'm even tentative to run art shops for fear of disappointing people. Then I don't because I just don't know what to do anymore >_>

Someone foed me because, after they lost a bid, I only offered them a '10 uncommon as a "I am sorry you lost the bid" gift. >.< I gave them a nice pm saying how I was sorry, but someone offered an Auto, so their bid would be cancelled. They frickin' foed me because I didn't accept their bid!!!

I'll get over it. X)

About 10 minutes later, I get a cancelled trade, saying this:

I sent a trade recently, and look what awaited me. The title of my newest PM was "A message from your pet," and it was supposedly sent by me.

Awwwww, I'll never forget that day when you adopted me from the pound . They were going to put me to sleep because nobody wanted me, but then you came and stroked me softly through the bars of my cage and took me home with you. And now you're sending me away and I won't be able to be with you any more . I hope my new owner will be as kind as you were to me.

I was nearly having a heart attack the whole time I read it. I didn't even know it was a pound pet!
I may never trade random pets again. O.O My rant, if too obscure: the fact that I automatically got too attached to the pet.

Why must a ton of pets that aren't on the rares list be in demand and SOME on the rares list in demand, yet when i finally get one, it isn't in demand, or it isn't and wasn't in demand at all.

You should report them. It is the same as scamming. They offer something in return and never deliver. They will be asked to give you your art or return the pet, and then if they don't the trade will be forcibly reversed by Tess and gain a warning. (As far as I know that is the process, but you should still report it xD)

When you have a pet, and you are not sure if the trades for it are fair because of its very big demand - and when you are in a trade involving C.S and you don't want to accidentally ask for too much because you don't know what it's worth.
