I stood still for a few rapid heart-beats. My muzzle was still skimming the water's surface, making it cooler. I slowly raise my head. I knew those scents... Suddenly, I remembered them. It was the girl from the store steps, and the dog that knew I was a Different. My belly crawls with nervousness and I lock eyes with the human. Every wolf ounce on me is telling me to flee. As soon as the sun gleamed off of something shiny and pointy, I got terrified. I knew what that shiny-and-pointy thing was. The girl doesn't know I'm a Different. She probably just thinks I'm a rabid wolf. She'd kill me if I didn't run! I shift my legs, thinking of my escape.

I looked at the "Bear" I see it moving away. I sigh, happily. Then I take myself out of invisible mode.I see a gray figure running at it. It takes a minute to reliese it and it was lady who was half the size, it is lady. I scream but it comes out as some weird noise. I see lady growling and snapping at the aniamal. I run as fast as I can. And when I'm 15 feet away from it I know what it is a giant wolf. I put my self into invisible mode once again but it doesn't work. So I stand there like a dofus while last is snapping, growling and about to lunge on the beast

I turn around and dash. My strong wolf legs gliding over the sandy shores of the lake and onto the grasses. I fix my yellow eyes in a far-off point in the forest. For a heartbeat, all I can think about is how beautiful it is to be a wolf. At the same moment, I feel frozen in time. Then the snarls and yip bring me back to reality. I skid to a halt and look over at the dog. Instantly, my defensive wolf mode kicks in, quicker then an expert-snapper can snap their fingers. I curl my lip up in a snarl, and after the she-dog finishes a bark; I lunge. But the thing I didn't know when I did go for the dog was that the girl was standing right there.

I watch in horror because my dog is the only thing important to me in the world. As I watch the larceny large wolf lunge i burst into tears, but my tears were mixed with screams. I remember I still have a knife in my hands and I try to throw but I fail and it goes halfway to the point. I scream lady's name but my scream isn't loud at all.

Lady growls and tries to lunge but is taking backwards by the wolf, she yelps in pain as she was pinned to the ground. She growls and tries to bite into what ever she can get her mouth on.

Melanie noticed the dog and her wounds finally something her powers could help with she waited for a break in the moment she went at the wolf pinning the dog to the ground she hated things that hurt other things she glared at the wolf her hands glowed black along with her wings she touched the Wolf and sent pain into it hoping for it to roll off the dog long enough to heal it.

I growl as I held tightly on to the dog's throat; pinning it to the ground. A small human thought comes to my mind. What am I doing? Then I realize that my wolf senses had taken over. I soon as I was about to step off, the dog bit me hard in the shoulder. I snarled and bit into the animal, my wolf overpowering me. All of a sudden, a girl comes over. She looked pretty harmless. But then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw her hands glow and saw wings on her. My grip loosened and my eyes got bigger. With a flash of time, pain went jabbing through me. It felt like a burn, really. I hated fire. I hated being burned.

I howled in pain and rolled off. The pain was still fresh on my coat as I lay in the grasses; still in my wolf form. I make myself go still and close my eyes. Idiots. I think with a growl rising in my throat. I attacked the dog for defense. It's not like a bunch of humans would know that. I try to sit up, but slip back down to the grass. Still growling, I shift back to normal Sam. I didn't care if anyone saw me shift. Then I jump to me feet and look toward the girl with her dog. I turn back to the girl who hurt me. "What the bleep was that for?! Yes, I didn't swear, I said bleep. "I was defending myself! That dog was going to attack!" I feel fire in my chest. Rage. I guess I lose my temper easily to people that hurt me.

"Look i did it so you wouldn't kill the poor animal!" she yelled she knelt beside the dog her hands glowed white this time the dogs wounds were healed "it thought you were going to attack it was instinct,i didn't do any physical harm you don't have a scratch on you from me" she said slightly more calm but still very angry.

I was still angry at her. I stared her right in the eyes. It still hurt! I felt like retorting, but bit down on my tongue until it ached and clenched my fists. I could smell the waves of anger rolling off of the girl. I looked at her with a hint of triumph. At least I had got her mad. Well, instead of hurt her. "I know how to control my anger. I was teaching that dog a leason not to sneak up on shape-shifting wolves." I snort, flicking my head to the little beast. I also said it with a hint of competition, since I could still smell her anger.

Kat watched the two fight. Lady crawled back to her side laying down and panting. Then she found a spot to jump in "Okay Sorry, I don't know shes expecting, and trying to defend me so yeah she got mad at you for being big and she was just trying to defend okay" She stopped to look down at her. She patted her stomach. Then looked back up "If it makes you happier, You might have made all the puppies go all stupid" She smiled and then got up from the ground and dustedof her pant legs
