"Who did you just call crazy?!" Pippin exclaimed, slightly offended, but he became silent as shadows began to swirl under her wing, and stared amazed as her voice seemed to come out of everywhere, even the trees. The hobbit swung around, and supposed it was a dragon thing.
"Thank you" he stammered "Always at your service, Lady Dragon Nightshade Shadowbringer" he gasped for breath at all these words, and then smiled, feeling slightly less drunk.

Kalaria chuckled at the hobbits. "When I heard about you in the stories, I pictured you differently!" Kalaria's face bore a smile. It felt like so long since a grin had spread across her face. It felt good to smile. "You two are hilarious. That they did not describe in the stories I was told." she was laughing so hard that it was difficult to get the words out of her mouth. "I'm Kalaria of Gondor." she introduced herself as she swung out of the saddle to shake the halflings' hands.

"At your service, Kalaria" Pippin bowed, smiling "We have a good sense of humour, but we can also be brave and heroic!" he chucked happily "Great, so when are we leaving?"

"Great, so when are we leaving?"

Amavin chuckled at the Hobbit's enthusiasm. She looked to Kalaria, "I don't know about the rest, but when are we departing on our mission?" She smiled at the human and patted her horse's neck.

"I recommend now." Kalaria replied, returning the smile. She mounted Elen and kicked her sides to get her to move. "Farewell, friends." she called over her shoulder. She tried not to let fatigue affect her, but she'd been riding for days. She put both reins in one hand and rubbed her eyes. "Are you coming?" her horse spun around with the slightest pull of the reins. She looked at Amavin and forced herself to put her smile back on her face.

Amavin nodded and tapped her heels against her horse's side. The mount began to trot forward, "See you soon!" She called over her shoulder, wiggling her metal clad fingers in goodbye. She turned to the front and smiled at Kalaria as she passed the waiting girl. "Shall we ride hard or take it easy? You look exhausted." Amavin chuckled.

Nightshade stepped out of the shadows to the right of the group. "I prefer to travel in the shadows, so you may not see me very much. But don't worry, I'm not running off." she stepped back into the shadows, her eyes glowing faintly. The two green glints were the only thing that showed her position, as she blended in perfectly with the shadows.

Merry watched Nightshade with his mouth open, dumbfounded. He quickly regained his senses, though, to watch Kalaria and Amavin leave. "Let's ride to Gondor, then. And Pip, Faramir can't be a king. Strider's king. Farry's just a prince, cuz he isn't royalty. But I want to see Eowyn again, and of course Faramir. Well, gee, it seems my buzz has worn off. But good, Eru, my head hurts now."

"We can ride fast and hard." Kalaria told Amavin, widening her eyes to wake herself. "I'm running on adrenaline now." she laughed but she wasn't quite sure why. She pushed her shoulders back and straightened her back. "Let's do this." It was a good thing Elen knew to follow Amavin's horse, because Kalaria took a few moments to compose herself. She suddenly realized that she was tense from being nervous around the confident people around her.

Amavin leaned forward and whispered a few elvish words in her horse's ear. Her mount began to pick up his pace until eventually he was running full. She glanced back to make sure Kalaria was keeping up with their pace. Smiling she turned back forward, closing her eyes in joy as the wind rushed across her face. They would reach Bree in no time at this rate.
