Rainsong turned around. "Yes, Darkstar?" she asked, walking over to her leader and bowing her head. This must be the prisoner! she thought, noticing Rogue and his foreign scent.

Darkstar smiled, and let out a shaky breath. "Oh yes," She noticed Rainsong look at Rouge. "This is Rouge," Darkstar said, flicking her tail to the small black tom behind her. "I was wondering if you wanted to go on a patrol?" She mewed,

"Um, sure," the young silver she-cat replied. "I'll tell Brambletail so he won't look for me to do anything else." She let her gaze linger on Rogue for a little while. After getting a good look at the black cat, she turned to leave.

[Shezza.]

Rouge smiled and followed Rainsong. "Hello," he said with a wicked tone. A matching wicked grin on his mouth.

Darkstar narrowed her eyes

"Oh, are you coming along?" Rainsong asked, looking to Darkstar, confused. The silver she-cat didn't like or trust this new black cat, but she still didn't want to be rude.

[Shezza.]

"Yes," Darkstar mewed distantly. "Rouge is coming, making sure our territory is clean of trespassers"

Rouge acted hurt, "Well, of course I am!"

Rainsong smiled, in spite of herself. "Well, c'mon then! Are we just doing a border patrol?" she asked, walking out the tunnel.

Brambletail ate his prey, two voles, next to the nursery.

Darkstar nodded. "Just to be sure the rouges are out," She growled, staring at Rouge.
