I woke up today with a slight cough.
I got to school with a sore throat.
By lunch I couldn't talk at all.
Since then I've successfully said a grand total of two words.
On the bright side, I didn't have to do my debate! Also, everyone loved the cupcakes I made, and the chocolate curls on top were alright despite the actual chocolate tasting terrible. (For future reference, if a chocolate bar is 90% cocoa, it probably won't make a good gift for the person with an almost unnaturally big sweet tooth. It was dark chocolate too...)
