Willing to overpay a little!
Ruth chuckled sardonically and then sighed, it had taken him long enough to realize. Then again she had always been good at hiding her pain and anger. It was part of her personality type, repressing bad feelings. Bad new, what a surprise. she replied wearily, and in a slightly sarcastic tone that she really didn't need. Today was not a good day. Alright I'll be waiting for you down here to come explain the very bad news to me. She agreed feeling Alan open himself to her fully to try and comfort her. Ruth let her own barriers down as well, allowing her worry and fear for him to surface if it wished and mingle with Alan's own frustration and anger. She let her mental being rub up against him, like a cat rubs up against something, and smiled slightly letting her own anger go.
Ruth could feel Alan fading and slipping away and gasped softly. Not even she had realized exactly how far gone Alan had been and still was. She was on her feet before he even began to tell her to come up instead. I'm already on my way love, let the doctor take care of you and don't you dare resist. she replied in a strict and yet somehow tender voice as she hurried through the corridor and up the stair taking them two at a time. She half ran, half power walked to the hospital wing and hurried in heading towards the room Alan was in.
As soon as Ruth reached the right room and ran across it to where Alan was sitting in a chair he looked so pale and grey, life death warmed up. She took his hand gently and looked at the doctor. "You'd better get an iv drip going soon for him doctor. I can raise his body fluid level just slightly right now." she informed the doctor. She turned back to Alan without waiting for a reply. "You look like a Halloween skeleton, it's a little early in the year though don't you think." she told him trying to make a joke for both their sake as she closed her eyes.
Ruth let herself 'drop' into Alan as her palms glowed ever so slightly and instantly alleviated some of his pain, letting it pass harmlessly through her and out into the air where it could do no harm. Ruth knew she could instantly hydrate Alan if she chose but doing that would kill him. A sudden intake of water would upset the equilibrium of his body and that was not something she wanted. Instead Ruth added just a little bit of water to his body fluids until she knew she could do no more and then withdrew.
She opened her eyes and instantly felt herself weaken but thankfully she was already sitting on the floor so nothing happened. Her cheek were also wet and Ruth realized that she was crying. She just pressed Alan's hand to her cheek and closed her eyes making no noise as tears squeezed from her eyes.

Welcome to the Battle Ground: Oaksdale College
In 2005, a virus known as ZED was released from a lab beneath Goucher College. The virus spread rapidly, but the government managed to contain it. The United States government claimed that the threat had passed, and that the citizens of the country were safe. Yet after years of testing, there is still no vaccine, no cure, for the virus that reanimates the dead bodies of the infected and makes them crave human flesh, specifically brains.
Many people refused to believe that the threat had truly passed because there was no known cure, and so they began to take matters into their own hands. Underground groups began to form at colleges across the country, college students who were determined to be prepared in case of the return of the zombie menace. They called their movement HvZ, standing for Humans vs. Zombies. They hoarded weapons, ammunition, and survival supplies. They created security systems in case of an outbreak. They made contacts higher up in government. Despite the distrust in the United States government the HvZ Squads believed that they would more time. It has only been seven years and yet...another outbreak has occurred. And this one cannot be contained...

Eʟᴇᴄᴛʀɪᴄ wrote:The brown-haired boy blinked his drowsy eyes as he felt a tremor shake through his muscular frame. Turning his head slightly, he come face to face to his chauffeur. His lips parted, letting out a startled shout as he jerked in surprise. The older man had already sense Noah's action and lean back before the boy could have a swing at him. "My apologies, but we've arrived at our destination." He said in a formally, monotone voice. Noah would have normally rolled his eyes if he wasn't so sluggish and sleepy. Instead, he just stared at the patient chauffeur while his mind slothfully processed the sentence that was spoken. He opened his mouth to speak, but couldn't find any words. On the long way to the mansion, the boy fell into a deep slumber, lulled by the music that blasted from the twin earphones of his iPod. The electronic device sat on his lap at the moment with music still emanating from the earphones. In the silence, Jeremy McKinnon's voice could be heard as he sang The Downfall of Us All. It only took Noah a few seconds before his brain registered his location. Grabbing the iPod from his lap, he turned it off and carefully rolled the string that connected the earphones around the device before stuffing it into his pocket and exiting through the already open door of the automobile. Once he got on his feet, Noah peered down at his clothing and let out a soft sigh. His position in the car left his checkered Hollister shirt slightly wrinkled. He ran a hand over the fabric, trying to smooth out the creases. Without looking in the mirror, the teenager knew that his hair was a mess of curls. So he combed through his hair through his hair, though it did very little to help. Noah fixed his black crucifix necklace to that he hung around his front instead of his back. That was his most prized piece of jewelry and the only one that he would ever wear outside of modeling. He didn't wear anything formal simply because it wasn't necessary. So instead, he wore something that made him look like he was ready to go to school: plead shirt, loose blue jeans, and black Vans.
As he took a glance to his right, the youth spotted his luggage. Noah didn't bring much, just a single suitcase full of his clothes and a duffel bag that hosted his hygiene products. After slinging the bag over his shoulder and grabbing the suitcase, he proceeded up the marble steps. The teen came to a halt once he was directly in front of the large set of double door that lead to his new "home" for the time being. Noah curled his free hand around the silver metal handle and opened it just enough for him to slip inside. He immediately spotted a sign on one of the many marble pillars that framed the hallway, telling him to do to the dining room. There were already many others who have arrive at the manor so Noah decided to follow them, not wanting to get lost on his first day there. His judgement was right since they lead him to massive, heavily decorated room. There were numerous models that crowded the room. Many of the models were female and Noah, being a guy, couldn't help but give some of them look-overs. Most just ignored the boy. As he surveyed his peers, Noah had to admit that, not just the girls, but the boys were fairly good-looking as well. It was very intimidating for him. He was starting to feel oddly underdressed compared to them.
