What's our opinions of Breakdown's death?

Now that the shock of the suddenness of his death has died down...I still think it was unnecessary. We already knew how strong Airachnid was, but I guess the writers decided Breakdown needed to 'die' so he could be used by MECH. Don't like the idea of those maggots climbing all over a Decepticon, but what can you do?

Well he's not 'gone' per say...he's being used as a puppet/shell for Silas mangled piece of slag body. It looked like Breakdown was on life support same as Silas at the end of that episode.

Well his helm and chassis were both intact, meaning it's likely both his processor and spark are okay.
