Arthur shrugged lightly, not wanting to answer. What kind of response would "Listening to Romano" get? Obviously, it wouldn't be a good one, but he was curious to see how bad a reaction it would be. Though, once he thought about it, he wasn't curious enough to find out. "Curiosity kills the cat." You did say that... The pale blond picked up the knife, flipping it around in his hands just to busy himself. "I..." he started, trying to find the right words. Would the reverse psychology excuse work? Probably not. He could always just tell the truth. Besides, what could possibly go wrong. Heh. Famous last words. Turning his eyes from the knife, Arthur looked up at Alfred. "I wanted to show you want you put me through all the time."

Alfred sighed. "Really? By nearly killing me?" I'll give him credit, I probably would do the same sooner or later... He rubbed his forehead. "Well, I guess it can't be helped..." He fought every once against his will for not trying to get angry. He looked at his bat and picked it up. I'm going to get back at him, but on another day. He finally decided. He looked back at Arthur, then heard the oven beep.

"I didn't mean to do that," Arthur said softly, standing up, shaking slightly. I hope you know that. He smiled slightly, hearing the oven beep. His smile faded, though, when he looked back at Alfred. "I just meant to scare you." Pause. Deep — slightly shaky — breath. "Never hurt you." Turning his attention from the American, he opened the oven and pulled out the tray of cupcakes, ignoring the burning in his fingers when he touched it. He set it on the counter, then looked back at Alfred. "You should eat one, Alfie~ It might make you feel better~"

Alfred huffed. It didn't seem like it . . . "Whatever . . . . Doesn't matter now, does it?" he said as he out hand to his throat again. That's not a half bad idea to get revenge on him. Maybe I don't have to actually hurt him with words.... That seem to affect him a lot. He looked at the cupcakes and crinkled his nose. I can always get revenge on another day... "Well, I really shouldn't...."

Arthur sighed, taking the icing out of the fridge and starting to put it on a cupcake. He made it so that it looked like his eyes — pale blue with pink and purple streak-swirls in it. He looked back at Alfred. The faintest of smirks crossed his face, though he kept it hidden from the American. "I think you should, Alfred. A cupcake or two would do you good. You're too...bony." That wasn't really the word the pale blond wanted to use to describe the American's lack of body weight, but it was the only one he could think of. Turning, he held the cupcake in his hand, gazing down at it before pressing it against Alfred's mouth as he said the last syllable of his word.

Alfred watched him as he iced the cupcake, using colors that were all too familiar to him. He's doing this on purpose. . . . I can;t eat one of those things... "I'm not that boney..." He sighed as he slightly closed his eyes. "Look, Arthur, I like you and all, but no way in hell am I going to- mphf!" His eyes flew open as he saw tha British man smirk as he stuffed the cupcake down his throat. Alfred tried to cough it up, but he already ate half of the cupcake. Disgusting... "You play dirty. . . ." he said as he wiped the icing from his face and into his sleeve.

Arthur giggled to himself, pulling the cupcake from the other's face. He licked it once, taking all the icing off it before putting it back on the counter. He smiled at Alfred, drawing a line down the middle of his chest with his finger. "You need to lighten up, Alfie~" Using the same finger, he wiped off some of the remaining icing off the American's face before sucking it lightly off his finger. Suddenly, Arthur gripped the front of his shirt and pulled him into a kiss. And just as soon as Alfred responded, he pulled back, letting go faster than you could blink. "You taste better now, though."

He's teasing me... Alfred thought a little glumly as Arthur licked the cupcake clean. He backed up a bit as Arthur traced his finger along his chest, taking some blue and pink icing from his face. "Oh please..." He rolled his eyes, but then widened them when Arthur pulled him in a quick rough kiss. He sighed as he wiped the remaining icing off his face. "I taste like a unicorn pooped in my mouth..." he said as he chugged a glass of water. Whatever makes you happy...

Arthur giggled, sitting up the counter and beginning to ice the cupcakes. Humming softly, his head tilted back and forth to the song he was singing to himself. After finishing the last cupcake, he set it down and looked up at Alfred. "You can think what you want, but I think they taste good." He swung his legs lightly, looking up at the ceiling. "I guess that's just another one of the many ways we're different." The pale blond sighed to himself, sliding off the counter, then shrugged. "Nothing makes any sense anymore..."
