[blarg, i keep meaning to post my ooc's and then forgetting:
I think I beat you all as far as epic birthdays go. I was born on Valentine's Day. ^-^]

Tessa's stern frown melted into a cheerful look and she dropped her hand to the table. "Sounds like fun!" She bit her lip, staring off into space as she went over the ingredients in her head. "Chocolate or vanilla cake, Vicente?" she asked, still not entirely focused on him. When Tessa planned, she planned like a BOSS and it was nearly all she thought about until the plan had been carried out.

Vicente pursed his lips to the side, thinking. "Ermm... You can choose." he said simply with a shrug, getting up and taking the empty plates to the sink, running water on them. He shut the faucet off, returning to the table. "When is your birthday, Tessa?" he asked with a little smile, a hand sub-consciously running over his pendant once again.

[Valentine's Day is my day to celebrate my birth and my singleness. Halfway through highschool and I still don't date. MWAHAHAHA, I somehow find this hilarious... *sigh*..... Yeeeaaah, I have no life either, Symphony xD Or at least, no love life whatsoever]

Tessa wasted no time in blurting out her choice. "Chocolate then. Chocolate cakes are the yummiest." She shifted restlessly in her seat, aching to get up and start rifling the fridge for ingredients. [Dare I give her my own birthday? ...Naw. I think I've done that to a bajillion of my other characters anyway. XD] "I turn 25 this August 10th. It's a pity. The majority of my birthdays were spent on the first day of school." She made a face, obviously repulsed by the memory.

Vicente chuckled. "What are modern schools like these days? They were awful back when I went to school!" Vicente chuckled, giving a little shudder as he thought of it, though he was in his silly mood. It was absolutely adorable. Vicente flashed a smile as he leaned back, his fangs glinting in the light of the kitchen.

[My sentiments exactly. I'd totally be dating if Legolas would just hurry up and jump out of my book.]

Tessa rolled her eyes at the thought of what highschool was like. "Oh geez, where to begin... Well, it's against the law to hit the students now. But I'm sure the kids today are just as hormone-ridden as the kids a century ago. And the teachers can range from stiff and by-the-book to totally chill. School was very strict back then, right?"

((Give me some Loki with a side of Legolas and Aragorn, and I'll be pleased. )

"Yeah, it was strict. Teachers could hit kids with rulers back then." Vicente chuckled. "Though most of the time I sat in the back of the class and read." he laughed softly, smiling. It was like the vampire to read so much, even in his youth. He could hardly imagine a "chill" teacher.

[Mmm, yummy... Throw a pinch of Batman in there and that's my dream hottie right there!]

Tessa giggled, putting a hand over her mouth to stifle the majority of it. She tried to imagine a cute little kid version of Vicente sitting in the back of class, nose buried in a book. It was a rather adorable mental image. "After all this time, you must be a walking, talking library of sorts." She thought back through her teachers. "Most of my music teachers were old and cranky and yelled at you if you even smiled. My French teacher's class was so easy that I napped my way through all four years and still got an A. And the rest of the teachers were somewhere in between that spectrum of strictness."

"I've lost count of how many books I've read." Vicente smiled, leaning back in his chair. "We only had one teacher for every subject. I had the meanest old lady for a teacher. Good thing she didn't bother me, though. She just slapped the kids in the front of the class with a ruler." he chuckled, smiling.

[wow, this dream guy just gets better and better!]

Tessa gave a small nod and a grin. "That's good. I'd hate to think of cute little Vicente getting slapped. It just isn't done in good taste. Now, Lucien on the other hand... I'm sure he got slapped, law or no law. He's so pig-headed when he wants to be." She'd lost count of the amount of times he'd made her angry over these couple of months. He seemed to have a knack for pushing just the right buttons, as they had seen the other night during the fight.

"He likes to make people mad. He gets mad that he can't make me mad." Vicente chuckled with a smirk, flicking his eyes to Tessa."It's just in his nature to make people mad, I suppose. As it's in my nature to read." he said the sentence matter-of-factly, a smile on his face.
