Arthur giggled more to himself. "Me? I'm not doing anything, Alfie~" He pressed the knife just slightly harder against the other's neck. "I'm just being batsh*t insane, just like you always say I am~" He hid the hurt behind that statement with a demented giggle. "You always say that I'm insane, don't you, Alfie~?" The pale blond had changed his tone yet again so that it sounded like a small child trying to cutsey its way into getting a toy or candy or something of that nature. "I'm just being how I am~"

Alfred's breath started to get heavy. What the hell is he doing? The knife was getting putting a lot of pressure on his neck, just enough that it would hurt, but not actually make it bleed. "Is that so?" he somehow managed to say. "What do you think your doing with the knife then, hm?" He must be getting back at me... Alfred was surprised that he actually felt nervous.

Arthur giggled, feeling Alfred's heart speed up and hearing his breathing get heavy. Nervous, Alfred~? Blue-and-purple irises narrowed. "Is your jerky attitude affecting your hearing now?" he asked, his voice suddenly cold and emotionless. Along with his tone changing, the pressure of the knife of the American's neck grew. "I just said that I'm batsh*t insane. You say that I'm batsh*t constantly. Shouldn't I play the role~?" Arthur was never the squeamish type, but when the pale blond saw blood seep out onto the knife, he wanted to puke. He never intended to hurt Alfred, just scare him a little. Sure, he had cut his face a little earlier, but that was payback for getting hit with the bat. This was different.

Alfred winced as he felt the cool knife dig into his flesh. He's actually nuts now! Sh*t. . . I hate karma so much... He cursed in his head as he began to cough. "That's for you to decide yourself . . ." Alfre choked out. He leaned into England to try to loosen the grip of the blade pressed against his neck. What trick is he trying to pull now?

Gulping softly, Arthur pushed Alfred off him. "D-don't lean on me," he said, cursing himself when his voice shook to the point of him stuttering. "Or I'll c-cut you more." This was hurting him more than it was hurting Alfred. Gritting his teeth, the knife was pressed harder against the American's neck. "And what if I chose to be insane? What difference would it make? You'd still hate me either w-way."

Alfred coughed, fighting the urge to bring his hands up to his neck. If I do, he'll kill me . . . . He did his best to stay still as he could feel the cold knife dug dig deeper into his skin. He coughed once more, nearly struggling to get his words out of his mouth. "I don't hate you, idiot." His breathing was heavy, and he didn't realized he was leaning a little bit on Arthur again, and tried to claw at his neck.

"Then stop calling me an idiot!" Arthur blurted out, almost screaming it. He forced back tears of anger and frustration. "You...you always treat me like sh*t and cut me down a-and hit me around with your bat." The pale blond mentally cursed himself when he felt tears run down his face. "S-sometimes I think I hate you more than I love you..." As he admitted all this, his fist had tightened around the knife and he had buried his face in the back of Alfred's shoulder.

Why do these things happen to me? I-Is he crying? he felt Arthur's head buried against his back, but the knife was still buried deep in his throat. He tried to clear his thoughts, but he was too distracted and more poured in his head. "If you think that I hate you, I don't." he said, his words gurgling a bit. "I didn't know my actions affected you so much."

The knife slipped from Arthur's hand, sending a haunting clatter throughout the room. He wrapped both his arms around Alfred, trying not to sniffle into his shoulder. "They do," he whispered softly, his backwards hug tightening slightly. "You wouldn't get it because I have more emotions than 'mad,' but it hurts, Alfred. It really does." The pale blond's words got softer the more he talked until the last syllable was barely audible. He fell silent, trying desperately to figure out what might happen next. It would most likely involve him getting yelled at or hit or the American getting mad.

Alfred sighed with relief as he heard the metal clang to the hard floor. He clutched his bleeding neck as Arthur hugged him from behind. He didn't say anything for a while. All he did was listen to Arthur mumble in his back and thinking how he as going to stop the blood. He sighed as the pastel wearing, pale blonde fell quiet. "I love you know.." he said, trying to make his voice soft, but irritation laced his voice just a little bit. However, for Alfred, this was way better then nothing. He took his free and held one of Arthur's.
