Skye
Skye was not very enthusiastic while he waited for an answer, having let his eyes drift up to the girl for a moment before looking back down at his guitar. She seemed to be trying to be just about as formal as he was, something that he found a bit interesting. Most of the scientists tried to make it necessary for the mutants to learn to speak like humans. They must have made yet another exception. Or so he thought. Looking up at her, she didn't look like the intellectual type to him… His thoughts not meaning any offence, but it wasn't until he heard her compliment him both inside and out that he have a slight change of heart. If she enjoyed the music, then she was welcome. He was willing to play for her, but… if more and more people beacon to gather, he would have to leave as soon as possible… The pain would be too much to bare.
"So I see… I appreciate the compliment… However I must admit that the company is not as welcome. You see, because of what I am, being around too many living organisms leaves me in pain. I would prefer that no one else decides to eavesdrop." He said lightly, sighing just as he finished speaking and looking down at his guitar. He started to strum it again, playing a tune that had already been finished. One of a more lighthearted tune. He wasn't sure why he decided to play that one, but it seemed to suit the situation. Not quite happy, but not quite sad. It was neutral, with a steady and soft beat that was meant to be relaxing. The feeling of his fingers dragging across the strings was very soothing. He couldn't deny that, but there was something more to it. He knew that what he played reflected himself. He couldn't read his own thoughts as a result of being able to hear everyone else's, so his own actions came as a mystery to him...
