Storyline:
There's much debate about how his all started. Some say it began at the beginning of time, when the demons first came to exist. Others believe that it must have started in some ancient civilization. Many have come to believe that it started with a poor young girl named Akako Miki Sakura . The truth is, it really begun with the "scientific" studies of Yukio Tan Sakura, Akako's father, and Ivan Nikolai Alexander. Sakura and Alexander were both very smart young men, very competitive, very secretive. It is said that they met through a shared intrest in the dark arts. Together, they did many dark, devious, and tainted things, including a way of pulling demons into this world to wreak havoc. In the beginning, they were simply curious, but over time their minds, especialy Sakura's, slipped it darkness. Sakura wanted power. He would, and did, do most horrible things to get what he wanted, but that's not what this story's about.
Demon's share this world with us. Like it or not, that is the truth. Some of them, weaker ones, have been able to slip through the Demo Gates created by Sakura and Alexandar, others have merly slipped parts of their power though the Gates and possesed the mind of a human, others have been let in by Akako, who was given the tortured ability to summon demons into this world. Some of those people, who have learned one way or another about demons, have been able to capture and bond with these dark creatures. Some have died trying. Some have been possessed. You are one of those who knows about this well kept secret, the question is, will you use your knowlage for good, or evil?
Demons:
They are a very diverse spicies. Many look like animals, some are humanoid, some are merely glowing orbs of power. It all depends on the demon. Usualy, their power is tied to an element of some form. For example, Fire-Demons, water-demons, air-demons, and water demons are rletivly common.

Common Demon:
rarity: Common (12-14)
Common personality traits: Loyal and strong, although a bit fearful. Often used as slaves.
Common Physical traits: Despite their cowardice and loyalty, they're larger than most, and usually quite muscular. They have visible horns but no wings or tail. Their skin tone ranges from red to human-like, and their eye colors consists of yellow, green, or orange.

Fire-demon
rarity: common (12-14)
common personality traits: Most fire demons are agressive and cruel. They are not prone to having complicated emotions and thoughts, instead focusing on strength and destruction
Common Physical traits: Many fire demons possess wings, though few can actualy fly. Most fully formed specimins resemble dragons or salamanders. They are one of the largest sub-spicies of demons in sise and strength. Many can spout fire of spontaniously combust.

Common personality traits: Water demons are usualy more easy to get along with than fire-demons. Many have an exelent sence of humor, but have extream moodswings. They get along better in groups than most other demons.
Common Physical traits: Many have rodentlike features, like that of an otter or weasl, but it is also common for them to have scales and fins. Many water demons are rather cute and would probubly be a favorite of younger charectors.

Common personality traits: Shy, usualy solitary, and they cannot stay in one place very long.
Common Physical traits: Many of these, even powerful ones, have very minamal forms. Many are simply pale colored glows or strings of flower petals appearing to be blown by a breeze. Some even are totally invisable. Those who do have solid form are usualy birdlike in apperence.

Common personality traits: Solid protecters, they tend not to be very spontanious, choosing to think about their actions carefuly. Even so, they are very protective of any that they bong with.
Common Physical traits: Seccond in strength only to the fire-demon so far, usualy large. Coloring in usualy browns, greys, and forest greens, with black or white markings. Some are vaugly humanoid in shape, many take the shape of forest animals.

Common personality traits: Very wide range here. Quite afew are rather cold and emotionless, but it's just as common to have one thats rather protective, or simply shy.
Common Physical traits: For no reason known to man, they have a tendency to take the form of animals you might recognize as more warm-weather animals. Though the coloring is almost always icy blues, greys whites, and black. Many also have spiky markings, and features that appear to be made of metal.

Common personality traits: Though they are a varriation of fire-demon, they are more in control of their fiery temper. Though they Still can be stuborn, they do possess the ability to see reason.
Common Physical traits: Much like Fire-demons, reptelion body shapes and such, though they are usualy smaller, and there wings more commonly enable them for flight, as well as being less spontanious with their fire and molten rock. They are still as good as their relitives in combat situations.

Common personality traits:Shadow demons are cold hearted in a sence they dont really care if your there or not they typicly are trixters and will mess with you at all costs but on rareity they are nice kinda
Common Physical traits: shadow demons usualy come in the form of a wolf a cat a dog......any carnivor they all have blood red or crimson eyes they usualy are dark pelted with white markings on rare ecasions neon markings they can be humanoid but not often they also can blend in with shadows if wanting to be hidden.

Common personality traits: Dark and mostly negative. They think of the glass half empty, and have a dark sense of humor.
Common Physical traits: Humanoid, very Skinny, but not unheathily skinny. strong. They wear mainly black, sometimes other colors. They have red eyes, and dark hair.
Other you might wanna know: when created, they were meant to eat people. One of the batches of creations went wrong, creating a group of Rakiri demons that repulsed at the thought of humans, and spent there days alone. Other Rakiri demons call them vegitarian demons, or fake rakiries.

Common Physical traits: They have uncommon hair colors like purple, pink, blue, etc. They love neon colors and white.

Bonds and Possession:
Bonds:
The demon and the human have come to an agreement of some sort. Usualy the end of this would be the demon eating the humans soul, but there are exeptions. A bond can, over time, make both the human and the demon distinctly more powerful. Also, please note, if there is a time when nothing is happening, I will allow a bonded pair to gain a new skill, a new attack, somthing to push the story along.
Possession:
The human has no choice in this matter. Only a stronger demon, who can't make it through the gates, would ever use this. it limits the demons power, and often distroys the mind of the human. It does have it's uses though. Obviously, it's a good way to sneak into human society, among other things.
Rules:
1. Don't start until you are accepted, sammy has the right to accept people, but, while those people may RP, they may not use any powers they possess until I look at it. This is to prevent charectors from being to powerful.
2. You may make as many charectors as you want. But please, before having more than one demon, make a human, I beg you! Remembor, this world belongs to the humans, and mostly populated with them!
3. No Gary-Sues or Mary-sues, No immortal charectors, they all can die, but demons are REALLY HARD to kill.
