Conner lives with his family of 7- his mum and dad and 5 other sibblings. His mom works-cleaning other houses and such, and his father works down in the mines. Conner and his family isn't rich at all, they have to work hard just to get by. Conner helps out his family by doing a paper route.

Connor exited his home and walked to the paper shop. This was everyday life for him and once more, his shoes were wearing thin. He packed up the papers by himself and hauled the trolley away from the shop. By then, it was half 7, but he was used to it.

Cassie was up nice and early. She sighed, hearing her younger sister and brother down the kitchen making loud noises. She ran down the steps and flew to the kitchen, stopping dead in her tracks. Flour everywhere-pans clattering on the floor. "Liam! Rose! Get Out!" Her British voice screamed. The kids screamed and ran out. Cassie was about to rip out her hair! Her mum and dad was coming home to day and she would die if they saw this. She quickly began to clean up the kitchen, darting around.
