❝My full name is Aamu Suoma Toivonen. Yep, I've heard the "oh, how unique of a name" and the "wow, that's interesting name you have there" bull-crap. Don't worry about it, I'm not a big fan of the name either. Can't blame me, I was born in Helsinki, Finland and lived there most of my life. I believe my parents were a couple of those weird, hippie-freak people when they named me -- my first name "Aamu" meaning morning in Finnish and my middle name "Suoma" being the feminine form that literally means Finland. Thankfully, they have long since grew out of that phase. But, unfortunately, I'm stuck with this name for the meantime.❞

►► Regardless of Aamu's constant ranting on and resentment about her name, she actually adores her full name. Something about her full name she just loves, maybe it's the way it flows or the ring to it; something about it just sounds so beautiful, elegant, and appealing to her. Aamu, in reality, wouldn't want to trade or change her name for anything in the world; it has far too much meaning to her.

❝Really? My name is really not that difficult to pronounce. This is the pronunciation for you if you really need it: "AAH - Mu", easy enough, right? Jeez. Don't see why I need a nickname if I have a name as stupidly simple as that. Alright, fine, I'll admit; some of my friends call me Am since they are too lazy to pronounce the last half of my name. But they are the only ones allowed to call me that, I would not suggest you calling me that.❞

They told me that I refused to stop crying but when they stood next to the window in the hospital room in the sunlight I would stop crying and calm down. So, even when they took me home, if I began crying they would stand in the sunlight with me and the crying would cease.❞

►► Aamu, despite acting rather and harshly abrupt, brutally honest, and standoffish; is a rather quiet and tentative person. Aamu uses sarcasm, and she likes to use sarcasm often. She may say she doesn't care what others think about her but she really does. Aamu is probably one of the most insecure and lacking self-confidence person you would ever meet. Aamu, though, is quite accepting, she isn't judgemental. Aamu knows that people aren't born bad or heartless, some people just have had a tougher past then others. Just to add, she is also a caring, and sensitive person. She loves her friends with all of her heart. If someone ever needs a shoulder to cry on or an understanding ear just to listen to their problems, Aamu is their person.

Aamu doesn't like silence, she actually fears it, so she always tries to make others laugh. Aamu is quite a stubborn teenager and is more than willing to stand up for what she believes in and is always prepared to stand up for other people, even if she doesn't know the person; her own determination and pride can drive her to do some pretty crazy things. Sometimes, though, her anger can get the best of her. Aamu doesn't snap easily, but when she does, just steer clear of her path until she can calm down her restless emotions. She doesn't tend to turn to people for support if she has any problems, but if she does, consider yourself a trusted friend of hers because that only happens once in a blue moon. She is a trustworthy person but you will have to work quite a bit to gain her trust.

Aamu takes things slowly, she likes taking her time and doesn't like to rush into things. Aamu is a "go-with-the-flow" person and is rather laid-back. She is a dreamer and aims high. Aamu is thankful for everything she and her family has and never takes anything for granted; life is too short to be living with regrets. Aamu is an optimistic teenager and always try to look at the positive and bright side of life.

❝Getting a little personal, eh? I'm sure you are waiting for some sappy, tear-jerking, long story about how my parents abandoned me at a young age and I spent most of my life in an orphanage and have been hopping from one foster home to the next for my whole life and that no one understands what I'm going through, but I would have to crush your hopes now and tell you that I've lived a rather normal, uneventful life. Like I said before, I was born and raised in Helsinki, Finland. The reason I am where I am now is because my father's business ended up failing in Finland so we moved here in search for more opportunities and a better life. So, now I'm here, just living a normal life. Nothing too eventful, just living it out.❞

►► Truth be told, that is exactly how Aamu's life went. She was living in Finland for a good portion of her life. Then, one day, her father came home in the most somber mood she had ever seen him in her life. Her father told Aamu and her mother the bad news, the company had been shut down. That was the first time Aamu had ever seen her parents cry. Aamu still remembers how helpless she felt at that time, how power-less she was to do anything to change the course of events. Nevertheless, she still believes that everything happens for a reason and that there is always light at the end of even the darkest of tunnels.

Grant is a peculiar person. Since the time he was born his parents raised him in a greenhouse. He didn't mind until he was older, then he started to rebel. As much as he loves plants, it wasn't normal to spend every waking moment in a greenhouse. He didn't have much time to socialize, so he is kinda awkward talking to people. Because if this, he doesn't have many friends, although he is funny and sweet. Grant can be shy at first, but once he warms up to you he is a cool person.
