Darkstar looked at Brambletail. She frowned. "I'll keep him in here." she mewed quietly. "You can leave now. Thanks Brambletail."

Brambletail bowed his head. "Anytime. That's what I'm here for," he gave a lopsided smile and began to leave. Looking over his shoulder, he asked, "Would you like me to bring you some prey?"

Darkstar looked up at Brambletail, her eyes haunted. "Thanks Brambletail, i would love some." She mewed.

Brambletail blinked and left the den.

Rainsong sat by the warriors den and picked at her mouse, upset that she'd missed the battle with the rogues.

(( Haha!Yeah, I thought I'd make another, it can't just be Darkstar, Brambletail, and Rogue all the time!))

Darkstar turned to Rouge. "Listen, and listen carefully." She hissed. "If you hurt any of my clan mates, i will kill you myself."

Rouge sat stone-faced and didnt reply.

Rainsong buried the remnants of her mouse and walked over to the fresh-kill pile, where Brambletail was picking out a squirrel. "So how was the battle?" she asked, her ears pricked in interest. Brambletail shrugged, his mouth full with the squirrel. "We have a prisoner," he added, putting the squirrel down to re-situate it in his mouth. He walked into Darkstar's den. "Here you are," he said, placing the prey gently at her feet.

Darkstar smiled, "Thanks Brambletail. A lot." she mewed, wrapping her tail around her paws.

Brambletail left Darkstar's den, still suspicious of Rogue. He wasn't sure if it would be safe for Darkstar if she shared her den with the rogue leader. What if something happened to her? he took one last glance back at the den, hesitated, then walked off to the warriors' den. He saw Rainsong approaching, then flicked his tail in greeting.

"Hi!" Rainsong said eagerly. "Can you tell me more about the battle?" Brambletail yawned in reply. "Actually, I was thinking you could sit watch tonight. I'll tell you tomorrow."

Darkstar took a bite of the squirrel, then flicked her tail to Rouge, beckoning him to have some.

"What if he poisoned it?" Rouge hissed.

Darkstar rolled her eyes and walked out of the den, beckoning Rouge to follow. "Rainsong!" She called out.
