Aqila awoke alone in her apartment, but for her cat, Cupcake. Even Cupcake, though, was across the room, snoozing on top of her castle shaped cat tree. "Princess," the girl mutter as her feet touched the cold wood floor, making her shiver. Granted, she didn't have much on to keep the heat in; just a pair of underwear and a long sleeveless shirt. Scooping her rainbow hair into a messy bun, she shuffled to the stove to make breakfast, eating her eggs quickly as she decided what to do with her day. "I think I"ll go to the pet store and get you some new toys," she told her fuzzy black cat in between bites. "Before that, though, I think I"ll go get a couple new CD's, and maybe some coffee... Then I have to go grocery shopping. I guess I have a lot more to do today than I thought," she murmured, putting her dishes in the sink and going to get ready for the day. Putting on a white sundress, she slipped on a pair of of brown gladiator sandals, then ran to the bathroom to fix her makeup and make the bun look a little more sytlish, versus trashy. "I'm leaving, Cupcake!" she yelled as she locked the door behind her, wallet and phone in hand as she walked out of the apartment complex and into the coffee shop down the street. Deciding on a cold green tea instead of actual coffee, she exited the shop with tea in hand, and ran smack into a girl who was listening to music, and seemingly lost in her own little world.

I fell down and my phone fell out of my pocket, the music goign loud since the headphones fellout. I quickly took it up and put the headphone in it agian. I looedk at the opther girl "you're in a rush, huh?" I asked her nad slipt the phone into mypocket again and gave her my hand to help her up.

Aqila laughed a little sheepishly, shaking her head as she did so. Taking the offered hand, she used it to pull herself up, reaching in her small purse for one of the small packets of wipes that she had shoved in there from one restaurant or another. Using it to wipe off her hands, and offering one to the other smiled and shrugged a little. "Not really," she responded, her cheeks pink as she picked up the spilled cup, as well as her phone from the ground. "I suppose I just wasn't looking," she finished, tucking a red strang of hair behind her ear as she started to apologize. "I am sorry about the mess. Did I get any of your stuff wet?"

"I only have my phone.." I siad my tone fading out and took it up "and it's dry." I said and smiedl widely "are you ok?" I asked and put donw my phone again into my pocket. I smiedl and loeodk up at her "excuse me. I'm RIkki and you are?" I asked politley, figuring out i would try to be polite every once in a while.

Jakub had been sitting in the park with his iPod, sleeping, since about three o'clock that morning. Sitting under a tree, his hat shading his eyes from the sun, he was avoiding getting up. He felt like he was still a little bit drunk, and probably hung over; that is, he would be hung over soon. "God, I need some food," he groaned as he got up, growling in irritationas the abnormally dressed little brat rang by again, screaming about a kidnapper. Spotting an annoyed looking girl who looked similar to the monkey running around, he stalked over to her, his face thunderous. "Can't you shut her up? Some of us don't want to listen to her," he growled, rubbing his now pounding head.

Ally Mae looked at the boy who was talking to her, raising her eyebrows at his rude request.
"Uh, whoever you are, you probably don't know, but she is only six. Also, she has ADHD, and I'm not sure if this is part of it, but it seems like it is. There isn't much I can do that will shut her up, 'kay? Now, if you will, please get away from me." Ally Mae said, already annoyed and this boy was making it even worse for her. She turned around from him and continued to read books on her iPad.

"Well, it's a good thing that it didn't get on your phone then. I would feel rather horrible about that." She smiled, her face lighting up in response to the expression on Rikki's face. "My name is Aqila (pronounced A-queela), though if you wish, you can call me Li. It's almost easier to pronounce, don't you think?" she commented, shrugging a little as she brushed yet another piece of hair back from her face, though this time it was from the stripe of blue that was directly over her forehead. "I suppose the least I can do is buy you some tea or coffee, since I knocked you off your feet. Literally. Whaddaya say?" she asked, smiling even wider.

"I know perfectly well who I am. The name's Jakub. I am the resident *sshole, and currently hung over. Your little sister is only aggrivating my headache. I understand ADHD and being young, but it seems that if you can't control her, you shouldn't have brought her to the park," he commented, sitting down next to her and stretching out his long legs. "Now. I've told you who I am. So, who are you, pretty lady?" he asked, trying to strike up a conversation despite her obvious aversion to him.
