Feather flicked the kit's ear gently with her tail."Why don't we wait until every cat is back in camp and see which one is willing to take you in?",she suggested.

Frosty's lime green eyes sparkled with laughter.He nodded his head slightly.Not feeling a need to talk.

Feather smiled down at Kayla."I'm Feather and this is Frosty",she mewed pointing her tail at the white tom.

Frosty walked smoothly over to the two."Later though we will be Frostpaw and Featherpaw."

Frosty turned to Whitepaw and nodded rather slowly."Sure",he mewed.

Feather jumped right around."Of course!"

"Then follow me!" She turned around, heading for the den, a medium-sized cave in the gorge. She flicked her tail to tell Kayla to look for her later.

Feather eagerly followed her.Matching her paw step for paw step."Is it fun to live here?",she asked.

Frosty followed more reluctantly.Not so sure he should listen to the white apprentice.After all she was a fox.And not all foxes can be trusted.That was for sure.

"It's good to hunt for prey, and all the Clan is like an enormous family, so yeah, it's fun. You will enjoy it!" She looked inside the den for a moment. "Rushingpaw and Falteredpaw aren't here. Those are their nests, see?" She entered to the cave and pointed them with a paw. "New apprentices sleep near the entrance, and older ones inside."
