Rebecca was in a old, unused building of a Revolutionary fort. She got up, yawned and looked at her horse who seemed to be asleep. She shook the horse and Star got up. Rebecca spoke softly to the horse then got out of the building with some difficulty. She saw all these strangely dressed people. Surely....She had not been asleep for this long...Had she?

Max was in his home and was looking around. He walked outside and took a walk.

Nate was on the computer, doing his homework. "Aw, geez," he said, looking out the window. "what is this, some sort of demonstration?"

Rebecca led Star through the streets and was being shouted at by some people. She had always known she was immortal but usually if they where in a deep sleep it was only for 100 years.....Not....thousands. Star snorted and half reared every time a loud car drove by.

Max looked around in slight confusion.

Nate left his room and went outside. "what's going on?" He saw that it was just one girl, going down the middle of the street with a horse. "You're going to kill yourself," he said, running toward her.

Rebecca tensed when she saw the boy coming towards her. She backed up closer into Stars body. The big black horse looked at the boy and did not move a muscle.

"geez, are you insane? Get out of the road!" He grabbed the horse's reins and tried to pull him onto the sidewalk.

From a different building, Lariya watched the boy. he seemed... familiar. But how is that possible? It must have been thousands upon thousands of years since she fell asleep. Yet something about him was... Oh never mind,she thought, and looked around. "Brego!" She couldn't believe her horse was still there. He looked at her as if to say, It's about time.

Star did not move for a few minutes till Rebecca started walking towards the sidewalk, in which case the horse acted much like a dog, and followed his master.

Nate was staring at the girl. "Are you, like, one of those people who pretend to be from a hundred years ago?" he asked curiously. "You don't seem to be familiar with the 'not getting run over by a car' rule here."

Rebecca asked in a thick accent, "Is that what those objects are called?" She looked towards the street, "I have never seen one before." Star snorted and shook his head.

Nate stared at her in disbelief. "Are you serious? You've never seen a car before?" Who is this person?
