Personallity- Comes off as a total punk on first impression, but she has a soft side to her. She adores her horse more than anything else in the world. She also loves music, and will often be seen with her earbuds in. Helena's one tough cookie; she's not often phased by insults or bullying, and will not hesitate to stick up for herself, her friends, or any horse. Despite this, she has a hidden insecurity, always striving to be the best and becoming angry and depressed with herself if she isn't. She is always under huge pressure from herself, always feeling the need to be better because she is one of the youngest western riders at the barn.
History- Helena is one of the best ropers there is, barrel racers, too. She is renowned from her hometown in B.C. all the way down to the heart of Texas. She and her brother Carey grew up on a ranch together, and despite their difference in age they got along well. Helena learned so much from her brother and father that by the time Carey was 18 and going for international competitions, Helena was 14 and tagging along for the ride. However, in an unfortunate accident in a barrel race, Helena was tossed off of the mare she was riding and thrown to the ground, landing on her knees. Because of this, the tendons in them were shattered, and Helena required 8 months of zero riding and full-time therapy. Even today, her health isn't perfect, and Carey constantly reminds her to go easy, but Helena can't bear not to ride. She was invited to the barn as an instructor's helper, her brother as well, so she can only hope for the best from her on out.

Personallity- Easy-going and cool as a cucumber, almost nothing can get Carey riled up. He's a big boy and he knows it, capable of making his own decisions and almost never getting rattled under pressure. He's not very protective of his little sister, knowing she follows in his footsteps. His presence seems to calm the horses he's around, and he often talks to them quietly, as if they understand what he's saying.
History- See Helena's history. Carey was born quite a few years before Helena, so he has a secret that he carries with him. Helena believes her parents are divorced, and her mother moved over seas. In reality, Carey and Helena's mother died giving birth to Helena, but Carey couldn't bear to tell his little sister so after what she's believed all these years. Carey has more awards and solid paper facts that he's a tremendous roper, but even still, he thinks Helena is better than him.
