[ sorry, took a nap ... =3= ]

Lilith rounded the corner only to come almost nose-to-nose with Faust, who didn't seem all that genial. Clearly he wasn't exactly a morning person. Nearby was a girl, and while it was weak there was a distinct feeling of "Angel" about her. Perhaps she was a halfling. Lilith was somewhat amused that Faust let anyone follow him around.
A small ripple of "Demon" brushed past Lilith's cheek, and she furrowed and eyebrow. It was certainly close by, and judging by the ripple it had recently used its power. Could it be that it was travelling with Faust? Impossible. Demon + Angel does not equal sustainable. Although perhaps volatile. Another stronger feeling of "Angel" also ruffled Lilith's feathers [so to speak]. Clearly Faust was not working alone. She kept her eyes on Faust, however, her stomach still throbbing a little from last night's punch--although hunger probably was also a fair contributor.
"Oh," Lilith was saying as she took all these sensations in, "it's you." She didn't sound particularly interested in fighting at the moment, her tone nearly sounding bored. Stifling an easy yawn, she asked, "Do any of you know where a human might get its food? You need that, apparently, for your vessel. Wildly inconvenient, don't you think?" Lilith glanced at Faust's scratched hands and let a flash of amusement and pride flash past her eyes before assuming the look of bland interest once more. Seemed like Faust wasn't as invincible as everyone said.

It calmed him like nothing else and reminded him that he got the chance to live another day, it was something that few of his kind got now. He prayed silently to himself before turning to look at the sleeping Demi, she was really pretty and he couldn't believe his luck that he found another human and a strategist at that too. He wondered though if his luck was too good, he was worried that he made a bad judgement call as he still wasn't sure if she was a demon/angel or not. He hoped that she was a human but he wasn't sure, Better keep her at arms length. He thought just to make sure.
Jake looked out the window again but this time it was to make sure that the area was safe, he held his gun lightly in his hands as to make it easier for him to move quickly if he saw anyone that could be a protential threat. That was when he saw someone walking down the ruined street, his body went tense as he lifted the gun up and aimed. He wasn't going to shoot just yet as that would give away his position, he had to make sure that the person walking was friendly or not.

Brea looked up at Kay and smirked, "I will try my best Kay but I can't make promises, it is easier for to make friends with him then it is for me and Faust. It's...." She paused for a moment trying to find the right word to say, but finding it hard to find one. "It's complicated." She said not sure if that was the right word to say but it was the only one that she could think of, since it was true.
Brea stretched then ran her hand through her short blonde hair as she tried to make it less bed head, she noticed how Faust looked when he saw her get up. He looked relieved which boosted her confidence a little since it made her feel important and needed. She then noticed how stiff Addan and Faust got, she looked up at Kay before she heard the unforgetable voice of the she demon. Lilith was what Faust said before she came around the corner? She wasn't sure, but she tensed up as well and took a few steps closer behind Faust so that she was five feet behind him. She also did this so that she could see Lilith, she could see that Lilith wasn't interested in fighting at the moment but that could change easily. Brea saw the flash of pride in the demons eyes, she no doubt saw the wounds on Faust hands, Speak your lies demon, but you can not trick me. She thought as her eyes hardened on Lilith as if dearing her to try anything.
A sickening thought suddenly drifted through Brea's mind, what if Addan chose her side then they would be even seeing that he would not harm Kay and Kay would not harm him. Brea cast her amber eyes behind her at Addan and lifted an eye brow as if to ask what side he would chose? If he chose the demons he would be going against Kay not physically but emotionally and mentally, seeing that she was half angel surely she would feel a little betrayed by such an action. She looked up at Kay for a brief second concerned about her, since she was a halfling and was no match for a pure bred demon (or angel).
Brea focussed on Lilith again and watched her like a hawk would its prey, she was waiting to see if she made any sudden changes in intent.
(( If it's alright with you Runningdawn, I change Brea's power of speed to her having incoherent visions of the future? Is that okay?? ))

As expected, Lilith soon rounded the corner, nearly running into Faust in the process. Their faces were too close but hey, all the better to try and intimidate her (even if Faust neglected to remember that this demon was not very good at being intimidated). "Demon scum," he said, his voice again a low hiss, filled with hatred, and, was that worry? No -- it was gone from his eyes a second later. Couldn't have been. Right?
"You are foolish to come this close again," Faust said, his eyes burning with a hatred that reached far deeper than a simple history. This was personal -- Lilith had, after all, aided in his brief, but very painful, defeat. He ignores her questions, swatting them away like flies, continuing to talk in a serious, threatening tone. "You could not even defeat when my energy was depleted -- are you sure that you would like to try again, when I am fully healed?" Right, so maybe "fully-healed" was a little bit of an exaggeration, but he would heal soon enough, right? His power was probably just tired. Could powers get tired? Ugh... too many questions.
Instead, Faust focused on something else -- like the fact that nobody was showing up behind Lilith. She appeared alone. "Ah, where are your friends?" Faust probed, letting an unsettling smile cross his features. "You are even stupider than I thought, to come alone. Or perhaps... they have outcast you?" Faust ventured, his head tilting to the side. He doubted it, but he would be thrilled if that were true.
[[ Yeah Lalia, that's fine! ]]

Lilith didn't miss the Angel's glare at her, and she immediately pegged her as the one Angel that hadn't been thoroughly affected by her influence the previous night. Well, if she had to, Lilith supposed she could mimic the sound of a jet engine. But that usually kept her from speaking from a while. Jet planes had quite a high frequency. Keeping an eye on the other Angel out of the corner of her eye, Lilith turned back to Faust, blinking slowly, stubbornly keeping her bored look.
"You're dumb. Get over yourself," Lilith said flatly and without much inflection. "I just want something to eat. You're worse than Ragne, it's hilarious." Smiling sleepily, Lilith stretched out her back and rolled her shoulders, saying conversationally, "I wouldn't really say they're my friends. They're more like ... comrades. Acquaintances. Helpful allies. I left them, I didn't feel like dealing with Ragne's s***." Lilith glanced back up at Faust then, frowning thoughtfully.
"I have to admit, at this point Ragne is starting to look real preferable to you. Please let go of your ego. I don't actively look for Angels. I was wandering, and that's all. And if you don't have any food, you're still dumb, and I also have no reason to stay. If you excuse me..." Lilith bowed mockingly, keep her face upturned so her eyes never left Faust, and made an exaggerated salute before straightening and starting to back away, always keeping her eyes towards the group. No way was she going to turn her back on these people, no matter what she said.

~ Ragne'Uruvien (Damien) Hooley ~
Ragne glanced in Nomi's direction handing her one of the squirrels that he had cooked on the now thriving fire. "My guess would be no, she's not one for understanding her place in a group. She's younger than I am, therefore when I make decisions for the good of this group, I expect her to listen. I essentially asked her to save both of your lives, but apparently that task was too difficult." Ragne let out a small hiss, then looking at Kiro he said, "We should try to get that shoulder to a human doctor, we can try to look less like demons, or I can send you in with Naomi who is obviously not full demon, but a human doctor should be able to fix up that shoulder better than I can." Ragne really hated trying to look for a human doctors help, or if there even was one left. he knew that Faust was the only being he knew of that could heal and considering he was the one who inflicted the damage, Ragne figured he wouldn't jump at the opportunity to heal it, or help a demon in general.
Ragne looked at Naomi and despite from being extremely shaken she seemed ok today. He let out a small sigh of relief that at least everyone had survived and he passed Kiro the second squirrel on a stick as he quickly prepared the third for himself. He needed to find water, but he hoped they could get a move on and look for a stream or underground water.

Kay's eyes flickered to watch Lilith turn and leave, a conflict of emotions raging internally. On one hand, being part angel, she was naturally at odds with the demon, but at the same time, there was Addan to consider. How unfair of her would it be to ask two angels, his opposites, to tag along with them for food, while she denied the same offer to another demon?
"Is ... is it alright if she follows? the half-angel murmured softly to Faust and Brea. Her tone made clear her stance on the situation -- just like it was only out of courtesy that she invited the two angels to join their lunch, it was courtesy that made her ask if they were comfortable with a demon not necessarily joining them, but following along behind them.
Her mouth curled in amusement at the slight tremor of worry in Faust's voice, despite his confident words. He needn't have worried about her psychic abilities, though. She tilted to look at Addan, and saw the faint trace of concentration in his eyes. The demon had already thrown out a mental shield to cover her, and by default, Faust had been caught beneath the shield as well.

Addan had, with the appearance of Lilith, let the shield he usually kept around himself to encompass Kay as well. A hint of annoyance colored his features as he realized the shield included Faust, but if it couldn't be helped, so be it.
He was actually half hoping the female demon would bombard Faust with mental commands, but at the same time, he really didn't care for a fight. He caught Brea's questioning look in his peripheral vision and shook his head slightly; a sign that he was entirely impassive in this encounter.
When the demon mentioned her quest for food, however, he smirked. It seemed like he and Kay had beaten most people to the chase -- they had realized that food would be vital early on. The knowledge that they had the basics of survival down -- that they had adapted quickly -- was comforting to him. He was neither eager nor unwilling to allow Lilith to join, however. He had always been a rather selfish demon. Every action was made based on its benefit to him, and he saw no particularly drastic positives or negatives in the addition or exclusion of the female demon.

Brea watched Lilith walk away while at the same time watching them, You are free now demon, but next time you probably wont be so lucky. Brea thought bitterly, she hadn't realized that her gift of death had flared up and was active until she heard Kay's voice. The warm numb feeling ran from her chest down to her right hand, she looked at her hand and raised an eye brow curious in why her gift had flared up when the she demon, Lilith, didn't intented to attack. The warmth moved around her arm like a viper ready to strike at anyone that got too close, and she knew that if she touched anyone in that moment they would become instantly sick with some sort of incurable disease. They wouldn't die right away as it wasn't at its full potential, be they would be sick and eventually die unless she cured it.
Brea clenched and unclenched her hand before looking at Faust then at Kay and shook her head, "Bringing the she demon would be futial, and I'm sure someone would die." She said before looking at her hand again, she hadn't yet "turned off" her gift yet as she was going to wait until Lilith was completely out of her sight. But she took a few steps away from everyone, just to be on the safe side as she didn't want to make any of her traveling companions to get sick.
Brea looked at Addan and gave a nod of..... thanks? She wasn't sure, all she knew was that she was greatful that he wasn't going to choose the side of his demon counter-part, Hopefully that is all we encounter today. She thought, but she had a feeling that today wasn't going to be a good day, seeing that they ran into Lilith so early and maybe the others weren't so far behind. I better keep my gift at the ready. She thought, though she knew that keeping one gift at the ready hightened the others that she had and there was one that she wished not to highten. But she had no choice, it was either keep them all hightened or shut them down and run the risk of not being fast enough to call upon them. So she was going to keep them hightened, but Brea could feel that she would have a vision soon though how strong and when she did not know.
"We better get going, there is no need to stay here anymore." Brea said firmly but gently, she needed to keep moving as staying in one stop for too long brought on her visions faster.
