Name: Nos-4-a2 (simply Nos to his friends)

Story (Optional): Nos-4-a2 returned to the liar with a look of frustration deeply set into his muzzle, while trying to ignore the limp in his leg. For the last week, he had been hunting a rogue creation named "Vicious" and was at wit's end with trying to find him. To add to his frustration, Nos-4-a2 knew that Doctor Valten would not take kindly to his failure, and would make sure his loyal creation knew this.

Walking down the ramp that led to the lower level of the laboratory, Nos-4-a2 passed a cage where an ear-splitting howl shook him to his core. Looking into the cage Nos-4-a1, driven mad by the experiments, was frothing at his mouth in the corner. He bore his teeth at his successor, but Nos-4-a2 didn't bother cowering in fear. He was superior to his predecessor in every way, and could easily take him down, should the failed experiment attempt a getaway.

Passing the cage, Nos-4-a2 entered Doctor Valten's lab, ears flat and head bowed.

"Well, Project Nos? Where you successful?" Docter Valten was leaning over a workbench and maneuvering to machines to help him see better. Nos-4-a2 new that the Doctor was probably working on a replacement for Vicious, but wouldn't be able to complete it until Nos-4-a2 caught him and returned with the failure.

"No, Good Doctor. He has eluded me again. I fought my hardest, but he successfully rendered me lame, and I was unable to properly go after him, with my useless leg," Nos-4-a2 said, walking up to his creator and sitting down next to him.

"Hn. Shame. Get onto my table in once I am done and I will heal you," Valten said, readjusting his goggles and continuing, "Until then, sit by the bed and relax, you have a lot of work to do after your leg is better."

Nos-4-a2 was speechless. Not only was his Master not angry, he was being nice! Nos-4-a2 didn't question his master, however, and instead slowly cowered to the bed, tail tucked between his legs. He was worried, expecting the calm before the storm. Within the hour, Nos-4-a2 was brought over to the workbench and his leg was healed. Getting off the bench and testing it, Nos-4-a2 looked up to Doctor Valten with a confused look in his eye, "Master?"

"Come with me, Nos-4-a2," He said, walking down a hall adjacent to the one Nos-4-a2 had walked in before. The corridor held prison cells for all of Valten's experiments that weren't completely loyal to him yet. Nos-4-a2 himself was once a wild and unruly creation, but after a lot of tests, he became devoted to Valten and Valten alone. When they passed Nos-4-a2's cell, the wolf moved closer to Valten, allowing a whimper to escape him.

"Hehe, we don't need that anymore, do we boy?" Valten asked with a chuckle, patting his favorite creation's head. Nos-4-a2 looked up at his master. At age 42, Valten still looked rather young. His hair was slicked back, so dark you couldn't' see the whites, his skin was still taut against his face and body, and his eyes held the fire that they had twenty years ago.

"No, master," Nos-4-a2 said quickly, regaining his composer. They continued to walk until they reached the end of the hall, where a large cage that went from the floor to the 50 ft high ceiling. Inside, a large, bright red, deformed creation that looked like various pieces of ugly patched together was huddled in the corner, snoring. Over the key pad the allowed the plexiglass door to open was a plaque with the words "Vicious" written in brass. All of the blood left Nos-4-a2's face. Vicious had been caught. Why had Doctor' Valten brought him here?

"You know, Nos-4-a2, I am very sorry to have to do this. You truly were my most loyal creation, but I do not have a use for you anymore," Quickly punching in the key code, Valten kicked Nos-4-a2 into the slightly raised door, forcing the wolf inside the prison with Vicious.

"Vicious! Wake up! I have a snack for you!" Nos-4-a2 whimpered as he heard the creature stir, "I am very sorry, Nos. I really am, but you are useless to me since you could not bring in this creature. You failed the test."

Valten left quickly, acting truly pained at doing this. Nos turned around, baring his teeth as the creature began to lumber towards him. Acting on impulse and adrenaline, Nos-4-a2 leapt at the large creature, avoiding the large hands that tried to bat him away. Reaching his shoulder, Nos-4-a2 wrapped his mouth around the creatures throat, began to bite down, then felt a large hand hit him on the side and sent him flying into the wall. However, Vicious' jugular had remained in Nos-4-a2's mouth. Vicious fell to the ground, dead.

It felt like every fabricated bone in Nos-4-a2's body was broken, and one of his ribs had broken through his skin. Standing slowly, Nos-4-a2 walked over to the dead body of Vicious. He bit him experimentally, but the creature didn't move. Throwing his head back, Nos-4-a2 howled triumphantly.

Now, all he had to do was escape.......

One day, i realized that i could open my eyes. Now, instead of squirming around helplessly, i knew i could live. No, not live, survive. I looked around and saw that i was in a clearing with some other pups. But somehow these pups looked strange to me. When i looked at myself i was confronted with heat and brightness, but when i saw them, they were all different from me. I decided that this was not where i belonged. I did not belong with these wolves. I belonged with wolves who, when they looked at themselves they too saw fire. For that's what i was, i realized. I. Was. Fire.

Day 1 :

A new healthy litter of wolf pups just arrived. We were supposed to just experiment on dogs, but a local hunter came across this litter upon killing the mother. I don't know what I've gotten into, but I'm getting a bad feeling about this.
I've been assigned to take care of the runt. They want me to bio-engineer a killing machine, something that the U.S could use as a weapon when the time comes. This runt will be my first experiment. I'll just be trying a few different things. It will probably die.

Day 13:

Experiment 0 is doing well at the moment. Before he opened his eyes, I injected the stem cells of an aquatic creature into the base of his tail. Within hours the pup's original tail shriveled up and fell off. There seems to be something budding there now, but I don't know what to expect. Experiment 0, who I affectionately call Beckett, survived the first experiment. Tomorrow I think I'll try enhancing his brain cells.

Story (Optional): Pyro was born of flames and since she was born she was always alone. She only had the comfort of fire. The flames taught her that hunger was not important. That as long as you used the energy from the flames it would sustain one for a long amount of time. This helped Pyro in times of famine as she was growing up. Still hunting and killing as well as fighting were something that were second nature to her. She was born of fire and destruction after all. Pyro never let anything stand in her way of doing what ever it was that she herself wished to do. Nor did she ever obey anyone.
