Adrian glanced nonchalantly up at Lucien and offered him a friendly smile. "Just doing my job, sir. You of all people should know what that's like. Or rather, not anymore? You're the one that killed the client rather than the target. Is this the target?" He looked back down at Sigma and reached forward, brushing the hair out of her eyes in an almost affectionate gesture. The look on the sobbing Sigma's face as she watched Lucien made Adrian frown. "This is the target. Great." He'd been sent on a suicide mission of sorts then.

"You can leave her to me and go back to the Sanctuary alive, and tell them you failed. Or, I'll paint my walls with your blood until you beg for death, subordinate." Lucien hissed viciously, his brown eyes dark and furious, strands of his hair loose as he didn't look to Sigma, keeping his eyes locked on the Assassin. He kept a moderately calm front as he watched, ready to spring forward and gut the man.

Sigma's wide eyes remained on Lucien's face, her pupils dangerously dialated from the extreme pain. Her chest rose and fell haltingly and she was finding it harder and harder to breathe with each passing moment. Had the assassin punctured her lung?

Adrian continued to speak as he leaned over Sigma, stalling as he weighed his options. "I don't understand. Is this your toy? Is that why you took her?" The fingers of his free hand ran down Sigma's left arm, causing her to cringe and turn her head away from Adrian, whimpering. "There are far more beautiful targets to choose from, you know." But of course this man would know. He'd been in the business much longer than Adrian.

"Did I give you permission to ask such questions, whelp? She belongs to me, and I do as I please with her." Lucien snarled stepping forward until he was eye to eye with the Assassin who held Sigma. Still, he avoided looking at Sigma. He could hear the pounded of Sigma's heart, and he could hear how she struggled to breath. He wanted to kill the idiot Assassin now, but, ah, that was against the Brotherhood rules.

To kill a Dark Brother or Sister is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis.

Sithis was the being that the Brotherhood believed in. The one in the void that took the souls the Assassin's were sent to kill. Now now, would Sithis truly mind if he killed this pathetic excuse for an Assassin?

Adrian laughed, his silver eyes sparkling with amusement. "So she is your toy. I won't deny Sithis a soul merely because it is another assassin's amusement." He reached into his coat, taking his time to choose a knife. "You can get a new one. Perhaps one not so rediculously fragile." He drew another quite simple looking dagger from the inner folds of his coat and readied it in his hand. "And longer hair. Her hair is far too short, no?"

It was at this moment that the bloodloss proved to be too much for Sigma. Her eyes glazed over and her breathing suddenly slowed as she slipped into shock. The furious beating of her heart slowed to a feeble, fleeting pace, quiet for even an assassin's keen hearing.

Lucien simply lunged forward, remaining silent so the move wouldn't be predicted. He attempted to knock Sigma out of the way as he barelled the other Assassin over. "Then Sithis can take your soul instead. I'm sure he'd prefer such a skilled assassin." he taunted as he snatched the dagger away from the man, preparing to dig it deep into his stomach. He knew he didn't have time to torture this man, Sigma's health was dropping, and fast.

Adrian grunted upon impact, automatically reaching into his coat again as he rolled away from Lucien. As he came out of the roll he threw the knife.

Sigma couldn't move. She felt numb. She could hardly see. Her vision was swimming. But she could just barely make out Lucien's form as he drew closer and knocked Adrian away.

Lucien ducked as the knife flew past him, skimming his neck and leaving a small cut. He snarled, infuriated. He lunged forward, knife raised, ready to plunge deep into the man''s throat. There was maniacal smirk on Lucien's face as he attacked the other Assassin. It was obvious he enjoyed killing. Just killing certain people.

Adrian moved away, but not in time. He let out a loud cry as the knife missed his neck and sunk into his chest. He continued to make noises of pain as he reached up to the knife, a sure sign of his low amount of training. Any experienced assassin died quietly.

Lucien chuckled darkly, twisting the knife within the Assassin's chest. "You're unworthy of being within the Brotherhood, you mewling worm." he chuckled, taking out the knife and plunging it into the man's throat, twisting it deeper and deeper, smiling at the crimson blood that bubbled up onto the man's skin from the cuts and gashes.
