I laughed gleefully at the discomfort I was inflicting on Latvia. Forget the fight, this was so much better! "I know, isn't it great? " I smiled slyly, going right up in his face to annoy him even more. 'D***! This sure is fun.' I thought, walking around him in a slow circle, holding my hands behind my back, a look of satifaction on my face. I walked around him again, whistling a merry tune just to bug him some more. I repeated this for a few more minutes, sometimes making faces at him. Finally, I sighed, getting bored of holding him in place with almost no backlash. "Fine. I'll let you go now," I shook my head slightly, releasing my spell with a nonchalant wave of my hands. I crossed my arms over my chest, preparing for him to attack me for that.

When he was released, Latvia put his hand on the wall for support. He took deep breaths, trying to fill his lungs with air once more. Not only did Surda's magic give her an advantage, it always slightly weakened him afterwards. The answer to the reason why this happened seemed to evade his mind, making him unable to figure out what was happening. For a few seconds, he clutched his head in pain before regaining some of his strength. With a weak grunt, he grabbed the knife from his back pocket and hurled it in her direction.
