I spy the abandoned palace, my curiousity growing rapidly... The crumbling stone walls appear intimidating but a pair of welcoming, pure-silver doors invite me inside. The hallway seems endless and the foral wallpaper flashes by as I race towards an unfamilar cry in the distant room. The temptation to suddenly stop and admire the abandoned buliding is silenced as my feet fly from the corridoor. A bedroom lined with glaced, wooden desks is clearly inhabited by no humans. I stumble through the doorway and enter the enlarged space. Perched elegantly, on an unloved but well-pampered bed is a small creature. I approach with great caution but a look of acceptance from the creature dares me to inch closer. I notice a pattern of jewels surrounding this animal... Abandoned? It seemed possible but this creature was abandoned not by choice... Through fear of it's royality.
PM me <3 Fingers crossed!

Story:
Gypsy slipped away from her owner, who was busy fortune telling to a man. She went to the backyard, where, finally, there was some peace and quiet. Her owner was loud and dramatic, and people were consistently petting her and talking to her in those annoying little baby voices!! She shifted a bit in the grass to make herself more comfortable. Closing her eyes, she concentrated on the warm sun. It felt good on her fur, and she felt peaceful. As she opened her eyes, they roamed and searched the lawn for anything interesting. She spotted a beautiful, green blue butterfly that was huge. It was almost as big as a bird! Curious, she watched it. For a moment it just lay there, the grass seeming to illuminate the beautiful blue-green of it as it rested. Then, it suddenly took off, the sun glinting off of the wings for a moment. Gypsy raised her head to watch, her ears shining from the trinkets that her owner loved to adorn her with. She watched it fly around in a circle, then head off, and she silently wished it luck. Later, it occurred to her that she should have chased it around, but at the moment, it had just been there, like her. She yawned, turning her attention to a dandelion. It was one of those puffy ones, and she looked at it for a moment. Then she got up, and started walking back to the house, very much at peace. Now her owner was appealing to a family, who wanted to know how long their dog would live. She ignored them, walking straight past and to the little indoor garden her owner had. She was searching out the catnip. Finding none, she walked away, disappointed. Her owner had found her yesterday, all curled up in the catnip and in a state of euphoria (intense happiness) and had laughed, but she didn't want her cat to be like that every day. She'd probably hidden it somewhere. Feeling somwhat disappointed, she sulked to a small room full of silks and blankets and curtains, and went to her favorite spot, the corner, where she sat and fell asleep, dreaming that maybe she'd get out of this stuffy place and one day live in a freer place, where she could roam all the time...
What a view, huh?
