"What do you want? Is it the catmint? I left it there earlier. Now leave me be, you clumsy excuse for a medicine cat apprentice." Winterbreeze growled, scraping her claws against the ground.
Nightraven snapped his teeth together audibly. "That's enough out of you!" he scolded his sister. "Rainpaw's blind, if you didn't notice. It was by accident. It's not her fault that Arrowstrike died, or that you yourself can't be a medicine cat. Grow up!" Winterbreeze flinched and spun around. She stalked from the camp to lay in a patch of mint, hoping the sharp scent would soothe her.

[Kui's Assistant]

mistypelt looked back at nightraven then rainpaw. She trotted over and put her nose to the apprentice's shoulder. "it's ok, don't listen to her" she mewed

Rainpaw looked at Winterbreeze, then to Nightraven and Mistypelt. She stepped back and ran off.

mistypelt smiled sheepishly at nightraven. "want to go now?" she asked looking into the forest

Nightraven cast one last glare at Winterbreeze before turning back to Mistypelt, his eyes bright and happy. "Sure." he purred, and led her out into the forest.

Rainpaw listened to the other apprentices playing as she sped by them, she ran into the med. cat den and fell beside a small rock in the den, covering her misted eyes with her paws, upset.

Nightraven cast one last glare at Winterbreeze before turning back to Mistypelt, his eyes bright and happy. "Sure." he purred, and led her out into the forest.

Mistypelt smiled, she was finally alone with him. If she had enough courage to, she would tell him how she feels. But sadly she isn't, maybe he would say something first...not likely.In her thoughts she bumped into nightraven. "s-sorry i wasn't paying attention" she said,blushing

Winterbreeze puffed and went after Rainpaw. "Look...I'm sorry, Rainpaw. I'm just a bit upset right now." The slender she-cat hung her head as her tears spilled over. Her breathing hitched quietly.

Nightraven smiled. "It's alright."

Rainpaw sighed and sat up, facing the other way, "Why are you upset, Winterbreeze?"
