He glared back keeping a good hold on Calla.
"I came here to get what`s rightfully mine."
He then gestured to the prize winning stallion,Ace.

Calla
She shook her head and in her eyes they read: That`s my horse!

Mace said, his eyes flashing, "I think you are a liar. How is he your horse? Do you have any sort of proof? Papers?"

"He`s mine because this thing you call a 'female' stole my horse. And yes, I have papers and proof. He has a chip in his ear that I put in there a year ago."

Calla
She shook her head,she knew this horse was rightfully hers,she adopted him when he was just a colt.

Mace said with irritation, "If he was rightfully yours then you would have had to go to a judge and get it proven. If you had the papers then there would be no problem and you could get him back. But by seeing the way you are threatening her is making me not believe you."

"Just go,dang it! You`re no help to her and or me!" He yelled tired of this boys childish games.

Mace said firmly, "No. I will not leave."

With a groan he asked,"What will it take to get you to leave?"

Mace glared at him and said, "Nothing can get me to leave this girl alone here with you and her horse. If I leave I am calling the police. And sense you are not wearing gloves your fingerprints will be found and you will be identified."

Heath growled and re-leased the girl.
"Fine! Take the dang girl!" With that he walked away.

Calla reached for her throat;making sure she wasn`t bleeding. Once she knew she was okay she lepted to her feet.
"He didn`t touch Ace,did he?"she asked herself,running to her horse.
