My hamster is driving me nuts, I really love her but she is getting to the point I am starting to regret getting her, I would never re-home her though, I don't believe it's right to do that just over the reason. She can't go in metal cages because she chews the bars so I bought her a plastic hamster cage which she literally hangs off the top just to chew and now she has broke the water bottle and chewed a hole in the side. It's not like she is bored. She comes out for like two hours every night to do hamster agility for entertainment but now I have to buy a glass tank for her. I can't find any apart from vivariums and a 30cmx30cm is about £60 and would be tiny. I am looking at spending over £100 for a good size tank and that's a lot for a tank, especially when I only get £35 a week at work. :(
Sorry for my slow response time on RP's. My new job steals ALL my time. :(

I can't move my hamster. My room is the only place she doesn't wake anyone else up.
It's now 01:23am here. I'm awake still. Hamster chewing and has for to the point she is bleeding yet she continues. I am actually sure their is something wrong in her breeding. She has been out for 2 hours tonight just running around. She has a card tube, a wheel and even two hamster chews but nope. It's the bars or plastic. My hamster is actually making mr depressed. ;(

Nope, we don't have laundery rooms or basements in my country . Houses are tiny xD just a livingroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and bedrooms. She should be quieter if I get her a tank because she will have nothing to chew (except her toys). :)

Every hamster I've ever hads been like that and my gerbils were the same. My Degus are worse they have a 4ft cage and loads of toys and they come out of their cage for an hour or so every day but they still chew the cage bars and with them its a wire cage or nothing. The cage I want for them cots £250 +£50 to post it.

Lol Maizy is louder than my 3 rats put together. She so annoying. And wow, that's an expensive cage. :o
I bought her s tank today but it doesn't have a roof. I don't think she will be able to climb out it's quiet tall. If she does i have something I can use for a lid. in theory she should be quieter. I did get her a placeing dunbell you desighned for small animals, hppefully it will keep her more buisy. XD
