Alfred looked at Arthur with amusement. The tables have turned now! "And why the hell not?" he said, keeping the bat to his chest. "Hurt you? What the f*** do you think I'm doing now? I don't need to hurt you with my baseball bat. Besides, I think it's making a difference. You just hate me more." God, how the f*** do I tell this creep I like him?

I clenched my hands into tight fists and hissed at him, green eyes flashing in anger, total cat-like. "I should be askin' you the same thing, Latvia!" I snarled, my voice dripping with venom when I spoke his name. I glared at him, clenching my teeth so hard that my jaw hurt. I was surprised that I didn't break any teeth or something. I just hated that boy! -I hate everybody. So that didn't really say much.- But still, I had a special place for him in my heart, the one where I stored all my anger and hatred.

Latvia narrowed his eyes at her and crossed his arms on his chest. She sure did have a bad habit of popping up at the most inopportune times, now didn't she? That was one of the many things he hated about her. And the only reason she showed up, most of the time, was to annoy the sh*t out of him. Why did she have to always show up when he was in the middle of something? At times, it got aggravating. His blind eye twitched with anger as he snapped back at her," Why would you even care? I thought you hated me!" And, of course, the feeling was mutual. So here he stood, snarling like a dog, simply because Surda decided to show up.

Arthur grit his teeth together. He knew Alfred was just toying with him, dancing around the truth. Because I love you, you jerky little, bat-full-of-tetanus-wielding, cupcake hating twit. Though his mind was screaming that, the pale blond would never say it out loud. "Because I couldn't. What more do you want me to say?" Arthur's hand tightened more around his knife, though he'd never use it on the American to kill him. Hurt him a little, yes, but he couldn't kill him. "What do you mean you don't need to use your bat to hurt me? That's the only way you ever hurt me." The Brit was lying, though. He knew how Alfred was hurting him. He just wouldn't admit it.

"Because don't like being 'round you!! D***it! Does it look like I wanna be within a mile of you!?? Now I'm stuck in a Mad house, -with no escape-, with you!!!" I screached at him, pointing at him while waving my arm around, acussingly at him. I then turned to the wall, and in my heat of fury, I punched it with all my might.

"OW! OH, MOTHER-" I yelled, cusssing and swearing rapidly, holding my stinging right hand close to my chest. I squeezed my eyes shut, pain exlpoding up and down my arm.
Great. Now I just made a fool out of myself in front of Latvia. He'll never let melive this down, that's for sure. And then I would have to kill him for that. Oh well. Just another reason to hate him. 'D-d*mn....Why did he have to be here?! My so called life her already stank. Now have him to annoy me!? Why????'

As Surda cursed and clutched her hard, Latvia felt an amused smirk spread across his deeply scarred face. "Pathetic. What are you? Stupid? Those walls are made of hard, strong steel," He chuckled in his distinct Latvian accent. "Just pathetic..." He rolled his eyes, crossing his arms on his chest. Seeing her make a fool of herself was just so amusing to him--And if she got mad at him for laughing, he'd be ready to fight her off.

We both know there are many different ways too hurt someone without using a bat. Or even a knife in that matter." he said evenly and glanced at Arthur's knife. "There's a god-damn reason for everything you know. Why the sky is blue, why you poison your cupcakes and why you didn't kill me then and there. Or maybe you just hate me so much you don;t even want to admit whatever is the truth." he hissed.

"I said that's the only way you've ever hurt me," Arthur replied, his voice holding no emotion. He couldn't just let himself snap like he had done twice earlier. It wasn't helping, nor was it good for him. Yet, blue-and-purple eyes narrowed. He didn't want to admit why he hadn't killed him. Why should he? Alfred wouldn't care to begin with. "Why does it matter why I didn't kill you?" the Brit spat, knuckles turning white as his fingers began aching from gripping the knife so tightly. "You wouldn't care even if I told you." At this rate, Arthur had the feeling that he would end up admitting as to why he didn't kill the American when he had the chance. How, though, he didn't know.

"Is it? Is it really?" Alfred asked raising an eyebrow. He swung the baseball bat back on his shoulder and looked down at Arthur. He could even feel his red eyes bore into the softer color eyes of Arthur. "Who says I wouldn't?" he said taking a step closer. "I can't know until you answer me."

Arthur stared up at him, eyes innocently wide open. He never thought Alfred would be the type to toy around with someone's emotions, but situations like these could bring out different traits in people. "I...I don't know," he said softly, using his free hand to grab his opposite arm across his chest. He stared at the ground until he saw the American's shadow get closer to him. Swallowing nervously, his fist used the handle of the knife as a stress reliever. "You really want to know?" His voice was soft and hesitant, unsure if he should actually do what he was planning on doing. Now or never, I-I suppose. The knife slipped from his hand and fell to the floor with a loud sound that echoed painfully through the room. In one quick motion, Arthur stood on his toes, gripped Alfred's shirt, and pulled him into a semi-forceful kiss.
