Ricky frowned, "Why not?" she asked. Gee I wonder why he can't swim...She thought secretly rolling her eyes.

"I - uh. I'm afraid of water." Matthew lied, scratching his head. "My brother drowned when I was young." His smile faded and he looked at the sky.

Ricky looked at him with a plan face. "Are you lying to me?" she raised an eyebrow.

"No. Why would I lie to you about this. You're the first I ever told this to." Matthew said, his eyes became sad. "But if you don't believe me, fine. I can understand. After all, darks only lie, right?"
