Oh yes it is. You go through ebs and flows- moments of doubt and moments of passion. Sometimes you feel like you cannot survive without your other half, and sometimes you want to throttle them. Breakups, makeups, cheating, mixed communication... Not to mention your only a teenager- not even you can help with your raging hormones. And there is no exception in Pleasantville California, my dear. The summer before college, and love is definitely in the air. Decisions must be made, and whether you end up staying with your significent other if up to you. Will your boyfriend be the perfect match? Or just be another heartbreak?

Oh of course- the perfect couple! The pair who have been together
for what seems like forever. Seem perfect, don't they? Adoring, dedicated,
and unwavering in their love. But trouble brews deeper in this relationship than
you could ever imagine. Is it really love? Or are they just grappling for anything?

The emotional abuse this couple withstands out to each other is horrendous.
Between the makeups, breakups, screaming and adoration, it's hard to even
see straight. But they can't seem to be apart for too long, in reality. Nor can
they stay upset with each other for long. While are considered the "worst"
relationship, it is only on the outside. Deep inside, they are the most sound.

It may seem all romantic and perfect, but being in love with your best friend
is anything but. You want to break up, but are too scared to do anything
in fear of losing your closest friend. Once you cross the boundary between
friends and lovers, there is no going back. Will this be the fairytale story
everyone coos over? Or the hot mess everyone dreads?

A sticky situation to be in. This girl thought she had it all figured out, but let's
be honest. She is far from a collected person. Stuck between to boys both
vying for her love and attention, this girl is anything but organized. On the
one hand, the first boy is so perfect. But the other boy is so
exciting. Who to choose, who to choose...

Ahhh, the player. This boy is in a situation alot of guys both dread and lust for.
He has two ladies- one on each arm. Whether he is just confused over
his feelings or a down right cheater, he definitely leads a double life. Secrets
haunt this boy's every move, let me tell you. If one girl finds out about the other
all Hell will break loose. Who knows if he even loves either of them?

June Lynn Mercer... How could you not know this girl? You must be new to the area, right? Well June Lynn Mercer is quite the popular one- but I will get into that later. June was named because of the day she was born- in the month of June on the summer solstice. June's middle name, Lynn, comes from her family heritage. Derived from the English word "lin", meaning "waterfall", June's deceased grandmother's name was Lynn- therefore explaining her middle name. June's last name was supposed to be Isles, which the last name of her father- but since her parents got divorced two months before June was born, her mother decided to change her own as well as June's last name to her maiden name, Mercer.

Eighteen, and just barely. She turns eighteen just the day before the cut off for her grade- a day older and she would be in the grade below the one she is in right now. While being younger than the rest of her classmates can be a set back, June sees this as a positive. Not only can she date the boys in her grade, but she can also date the guys one grade younger as well as one grade older without the situation feeling awkward. June was born on August 24th, 1994, on a typical Californian sunny day.

Well, let's be real. June is most obviously a girl, isn't she? I thought you could tell, but I guess your eyes decieve you for bothering to ask. Even so, her reputation should show to you she is most definitely a girl. A few picky relationships with males, a fling with an odd girl here or there. Nothing to serious yet nothing to stupid. Not to mention her girly fashion choices, my dear. Well, in a nutshell- June is definitely a girl.

While June is not by any means as gorgeous as she likes to think she is, she definitely is pretty. Its how she holds herself, how she struts, how she sleekly moves through her surroundings, that make her eye-catching. Okay, now, let me begin to describe June in a way you might understand what I am trying to get at.

June's face is shadowed by her long, cascading ebony hair which falls to the end of her ribcage. She has a natural, glowing hair shade which during the winter appears dark and rich, like the bark of an elm tree. During the summer months, June's hair naturally transforms into a more glowing shade, almost matching the color of the famous Redwood trees famous in California. With lengthy, perfectly curled locks, June never brushes her hair unless it is freshly washed- simply because brushing thick, wavy hair only results in an unflattering poof. June's hair frames her face nicely, with natural layers making her face glowing and bright. June's hair is a dark, rich ebony color identical to her mother's hair. Minus a slight hint of blonde-brown tips due to the chlorination of the pools June swims in around her backyard pool and in the swim-team training pools, June's hair is naturally a firm, solid color and doesn't highlight of lowlight throughout. With thicker hair follicles and width, June's hair is naturally long and wavy, and is thick and luxurious when naturally flowing down her back. June has to regularly get her hair trimmed because she straightens, curls, crimps, and braids her hair so much the split ends get quite obvious.

A peachy glow with brown, dappling freckles dotting her cheeks create the mark of a beach-side resident, since they are out in the sun so often they get a radiant, warm tan. June's face has a round, plumper shape, and is very smooth compared to her father's more angular, sharp complexure. She has a very slight upturned nose, that is identical to her mother's. The clarity and perfection softness of her skin is due to the constant contact with water- she is always swimming in ocean, pool, or river water. With dark, chocolate brown eyes that twinkle with warmth, June's eyes are very beautiful. Rich like chocolate and smooth like velvet, her gaze is sweeping and natural. With faint, almost unnoticeable amber and yellow flecks, the highlights of her eyes bring out a bright and welcoming undertone that subconsciously wills yourself to talk to her. She has a angelic, petit appearance that takes two or three years off of her age-approximation, and most people assume she is a sixteen year-old.

With a rich, chocolaty base tone, June's eyes are quite warm and eye catching. While they may not be anything exotic, like the sea-green blue eyes of her mother's, or the bright green eyes of her little sister, June's eyes are welcoming in their own way. The yellow and amber flecks in her eyes add to a delightful sparkle, and tend to create a kaleidoscope affect when in the sunlight.

June is pretty short for her age, let's face it. While she may balance out in her skinny weight, she definitely is shorter than most people around her age. Even other teenagers younger than her are taller than her! However, sometimes being shorter can benefit you. While she can't reach to the highest shelf in her kitchen, she can climb the highest up a tree due to her small and lightweight build. Like I said before, June is quite small for her age. Her light weight is only heavier than you expect because she has a bit of muscle rather than just plain skin and bones, however. June has always wanted a larger weight because she wants more muscle, but her high metabolism rate thinks for her otherwise.

With a thin, light, and lithe build, June is definitely a force to be reckoned with. She is nimble on her feet, able to dodge almost any blow and outrun her enemy with ease. She has a natural tendency to lean forward on her toes, adding to the reasons why June is able to be so speedy and agile. She naturally has a skinnier build, due to her high metabolism, but the little she does have on her are muscles. While she may not be strong, burly, or in any way able to wrestle someone, she does have higher than average arm and leg strength, due to the intensity of the muscle use during her intensive swim-training during the time she spends on swim team. In a nutshell, June is lean, cherubic, and beautiful.

While piercings are something June has always admired, June only has a few compared to other individuals, who have plenty more. She has her basic earlobes pierced, as well as her doubles on her earlobe, and a triple on her left ear. Her cartilage, snug, and rook are pierced on her left ear as well, and on her right ear her tragus, rook, industrial, and conch are pierced. She has a nose piercing as well, but other than that she has no body piercings- no belly button, eyebrow, lip, hip, back, or any other sort of piercings. While to some other girls in her school may seem like a plathera of modifications, compared to the lively piercings in her area she has minimal. Also, June has only one tattoo. She has a set of birds tattooed on the side of her left arm, like such which was given to her under request when she turned sixteen. Other than that, no tattoos mark her body.

Hmm... where to begin. Well, June is a very sociable girl. She has always been the "it" girl in a conversation, and will always be. She makes friends easily, or at least- she makes people think they are her friends easily. June is a social butterfly, and her outgoing nature can seem unapproachable to some. She permanently has this look on her face that symbolizes her attitude, as if she is permanently judging you to see if your good enough. Being an outspoken young female, she doesn't hold back on sharing her opinions even at the cost of being shunned. Where most girls would blush at being told off, June can quickly use her quick wits to twist the situation around so you look like the bad guy. Quick with her words and having a sharp tongue, never underestimate the fact she always has something to say. Despite the fact she gets into trouble easily, her angelic smile and good nature tends to make teachers and professors think of her as the class angel, for some unknown and elusive reason to them. June knows she is pretty gorgeous, so she uses her looks and sweet outer shell to bend others to her will if she really needs to. While she may not be book smart, this girl is street smart beyond your belief. At times, she can be conniving and menacing, yet at other times June seems like the perfect die-hard best friend.

As a crush, June can be sweet, flirtatious, and very hard to resist. She is fun-loving and free-willed, and likes to roll with the punches when she is knocked back. She doesn't give up easily on her crushes, until fully-fledged and honest rejection is given- in which she tends to mentally recoil. June's bubbly and desirable nature is very prominent if she withholds a crush on you, and she is often dubbed a hopeless romantic when she tries to win boys over. Despite being very young still, June's mental capabilities to comprehend situations, such as crushes and boy/girlfriends, excels her age. As a girlfriend, June immediately takes a few steps back in her proximity to you. She isn't clingy at all, but if she notices another person trying to hone in on her boyfriend, she likes to let them know just exactly who they're dating. She can get flirty and romantic, but still being young has its disadvantages. Depending on the guy, June changes who she is when around her crush. Sometimes she is sweet and soft-spoken, sometimes she is frilly and flirtatious, sometimes she is slutty and loud.

As a friend, June is very close-bonded and protective. It takes alot for you to gain her full trust in situations and overall life, but once you gain her trust, it’s just as hard to lose. While at first it may seem like you’re her friend simply by how she treats you, June doesn't officially count you as anywhere near one until much later on. What can really show that you’re her true friend is if she shares a secret with you, or shows you are submissive and sensitive side- rarely seen by others. While she may seem tough and hard-headed to most, on the inside a rare flicker of deep sensitivity is prone to her during rough times. When June grows close to someone, she is dedicated, honest, and crazy, almost. Usually she is well put together, and the obvious product of a rich, snobby family, but when she is around friends, minus her odd contempt comments, she is a very crazy, playful and fun-loving girl. June has a very wide circle of "friends", but a few select best friends, at her current school. But now that the summer before college has made her realize she won’t be with her group of besties like she always thought she would, June feels a prick of sadness mark her every thought. Letting go of past friendships in which nothing was gone wrong saddens June greatly.

June is a very selfish, unkind type of girl. She always has been, always will. Its just how she is. While she doesn't intend to come across this way, many people know not to mess with her. She has a very sharp-tongue, that often becomes fiery and uncivil when she is pushed over the edge. While she doesn't take offense when people insult her own figure, personality, or whatever, when someone hurts her friend, she becomes very undesirable. June can be very judgmental towards others, and often can make rude remarks towards others based on first looks and appearances. Due to her well-off upbringing, she even subconsciously warns herself to stay clear of "certain" types of people. June may not be extremely clever in her studies, and people often assume based on her bubbly personality, she is the type of girl who is dumber than a brick wall. However, while she tends to shut up and keep to herself in class, she occasionally makes odd remarks that make you stop and think- "Hey, maybe your smarter than you look". Naturally, she is very proud and stubborn, and often is too prideful and dignified to apologize or try to set things right when she gets in a spat with someone. Her worst attribute is by far her sense she always needs to get in the last word, and once you set her off its hard to rail her back in. She is much like her mother in this way, and often feels ashamed of the fact. However, the worst attribute by far, is June's lust and permeable wish to have revenge. She doesn't let go of things easily, and the idea someone gets away unpunished ever makes her anger surreal and hateful. She despises all people who get away easy on situations, and sometimes takes matters into her own hands if needed. Be warned, don't get on her bad side. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and June delivers.

June's most prominent and dominant side to her is by far her seemingly dim-witted and flirtatious personality. She can be snarky, rude, and make strange and insulting comments towards others, even when she tries to control it. At her school, June was dubbed a "queen bee", when in fact, she always tried to please everyone just to get them to like her. She has a lust for attention that permanently needs to be met by someone, and hates being by herself. She fears being alone, and she fears silence even more, because she immediately connects the situation with death, or something similar. Her natural disposition to find a fault in someone is due to the fact while she was well-off, her mother rarely cared about her, and her father was often gone- travelling or busy in the wizard world. She has terrible attention-seeking issues due to this, and whenever her father came home and doted on her, she became greedy for his approving, permanent smiles. June's least prominent side is by far the sensitive, weak side. This is rarely shown, and often only symbolized when she is by herself, or mulling over something sorrowful. A sad, puckered look crosses her face; sometimes briefly, sometimes for long periods of time. The moment she realizes someone is noticing though, she washes her face deadpan and resolves her internal issues. This feeling often momentarily crosses her face when she thinks of her sister, or her friends she gravely misses.

While it may seem like June is a very vulnerable and faulty girl, she does have plenty of good qualities too. Her easy-going nature that makes her less hard-pressured paves way for her love of horseback riding and running in the wind. She loves the freedom of the wind, and simple things like such in life. June is open to new ideas, and adapts to new situations easily. While she may be stubborn on an already-made choice for herself, she does often let her own wishes subside towards others in order to please everyone. She may not seem kind, but often she makes little compliments that she delivers with a frown, so their meaning may seem confusing. June loves taking risks for the thrill, and is often the first to suggest breaking the rules. Her love of being secretive and sneaking around directly contradicts her despise of getting in trouble, yet June rarely learns her lesson. It takes alot for her to say the words "I'm sorry" or "I love you", so when she does you know its heartfelt.

When June is in a bad mood, she can seem unapproachable (more than usual), silent, pouting and droopy. She sits in the back of class, her hair falling over her gentle, caressing gaze, and mutters comments to herself. She avoids her friends, doesn't eat very much, and spends her time sulking. While she doesn't do it purely for attention, June's feisty nature tends to snap back whenever someone asks her what the problem is. When June is in a good mood, she laughs easily, takes humor as a rare gift in life, and rarely contradicts others. While she does seem like the type of social butterfly you don't want to approach for starters, if she is in a good mood, she is simple and down-to-earth.

June was born to a single mother who had no children of her own, yet. Her mother, Charlottle Mercer, was married for four years to a wealthy man named Henry Telarouse and lived in Princeton, Virginina. They seemed like quite a happy couple, at least on the outside. However, six months before June was born, Charlotte found out Henry had been cheating on her for six months with Charlotte's best friend, Georgia Helland, and she was furious. A key-scratched car and destroyed male's clothing later, Charlotte filed for divorce without a hesitation. The divorce passed, and since they hadn't signed a prenub Henry has to pay triple the amount of usual child care, as well as having to pay her $1.4 million dollars in a single amount.

Ever since then, Charlotte Telarouse changed her name back to Charlotte Mercer, and has been living in the big and spacy mansions of Pleasantville's upperclass sector- The Reserve. She is snooty and rude, and definitely has grown into the rudeness of the area. Charlotte had June three months after the legal divorce papers settled in, and only lets Henry see her one a month, under the court papers he signed to limited visitation rights. If Henry had fought the custody battle, he probably would have been able to get shared custody of June, but he didn't even try to fight with Charlotte for June. And that is why June hates her father beyond any repair. When they have their "special day out", June practically just sits on her phone the whole day and openly criticizes everything her father suggests for them to do. Being an only child, June doesn't have to share this burden or torture with another sibling, and therefore has to spend a day with her father. Alone. Sometimes he brings along his latest gold-digging girlfriend, the 22 year-old hottie named Melanie Ryan, who only is with her father for his lavish gifts and expensive getaways. He doesn't bring her to their special outings anymore, simply because June and Melanie hate each other beyond words. I mean seriously, this girl is only three years older than June. How creepy is that?

Well, anyways, back to the story. June has been living rich and snobby her whole life, and definitely gets her way easily. Her mother is the typical wanna-be hipster who wears Chanel and Dolce & Gabana, and does anything for June to think she is "cool". Ever since June was nine years old, her mother began to teach her to put on make up and style her hair. June wore designer clothes from when she was old enough to babble. She started wearing heels and revealing outfits at the age of 14. Her mother has enrolled her in gymnastic classes since she was four- that being the reason why June is able to easily pull of aerials {no handed cartwheels} and arabians {no handed front walkovers}. When June wanted to be a singer, she was enrolled in private singing lessons. When June wanted to be an actor, she was put in acting classes. When June wanted to be a dancer, she was put in ballet classes. When June wanted to be a model, she was scouted by an agent and signed a contract. Whatever June wants, June gets. Or at least thats how it seems. In reality, June is limited to what she wants. Her mother doesn't want her to do the journalism June wants, and threatens to not pay June's college tuition if June follows her passion. While June is allowed to go to any social get-together she mentions, she isn't allowed to carry out her simple dream of being a writer. In reality, now June is being forced by her mother to become a typical little rich girl's prize- a dancer who does modelling, acting, and singing. I mean, June is good at it, but not the best. She just wants to write. But her mother doesn't care. June plans on going to Joffrey Ballet School in New York. Not that she wants to.

In the past, June has had alot of "relationships" that are not really relationships. She likes to use boys as if they are simple, disposable items that you can just refreshing for an update. To her, love, romance, and relationships are a game, and she is the player. However, currently, she feels alot more connected to her two boy-toys, and actually thinks she loves them both. I mean, really. It is quite the improvement from using, abusing, then losing boys like she usually does. Kudos to June.

Marcus Luxe, yup that's his name. He has no middle name- I mean it. His parents never got to giving him a middle name because they didn't really find another name besides Marcus they both agreed upon to put as his middle name. His mother wanted "Jacob", to remember her brother who died a month earlier, but his father wanted Xavier, to commemorate his favorite comic book character- Charles Xavier from X-men. You can call him Marcus, Marky, Mac or Marc. Whatever floats your boat.

Marcus is seventeen years old, and turned seventeen April 1st. He is a year younger than most people in his grade because when he was thirteen years old he was bumped up a grade due to his intelligence in math, science, and english. He is quite the smart kid, you see. He was born in 1995, but looks the same age as his fellow senior graduates. Marcus was born on a rainy April day, and his birthday being on April Fools definitely has made him the brunt of plenty of foolry over the years. One more "April Fools!" prank on him, and he might just explode.

Marcus is not exactly handsome, but definitely isn't ugly. He is hot, by all means, but not the guy that people would stop and stare at on the streets- so, he is no Orlando Bloom. Marcus's most appealing feature are definitely his eyes. His eyes seem to change color, depending on the day, really. Somedays, they are an icy, cold blue. On these days, Marcus's eyes seem piercing and deadly, but his good nature somewhat balances out the cruel look to them. Other days, they are a hazy, dull-er gray. While the gray may seem unappealing, to some people such a color is magnificent. They seem stormy and clouded, much like his own inner personality, and are quite attractive in a bad-boy way.

In addition, Marcus's hair is slightly shaggy and unkept, but most of the time it looks acceptable. During the summer days, his hair lightens and appears to be a dirty blonde color with blonde highlights. In the winter season, it turns a mouse-brown with an almost chlorinated-tip texture. He keeps his hair to right above his eyebrows all the time, and constantly trims so it doesn't shroud his gaze. When he was younger, in 9th and 10th grade, he straightened his hair so it looked smoother. However, since his interest and compulsive enrollment in swim team, dive team, and recreational swimming, he doesn't straighten it anymore due to the fact he is swimming so often the straightening is pointless.

Marcus is pretty tall, standing around 6 foot 2 inches, but isn't sky-high in his height. If he was in the grand below like he should be, he would be considered a "freak" for his height, but he levels out with the other kids in his grade currently. His body is muscular, so his weight is around 170 pounds, give or take a couple pounds. Marcus has toned biceps and triceps, but not bulging ones since those seem unappealing to him. In addition, thanks to his swimming, he has a clearly definied eight-pack, and toned legs. He likes the way he looks right now, and doesn't want to gain much more weight because then swimming could get impossible. Marcus, when he walks, sometimes seems slow and bumbling, so can give off the appearance he is one of those idiot jocks the school was "so proud of".

Ahh, how Marcus wishes. He wants his cartilage pierced, and maybe a few good tattoos. But his parents are the super "up-tight conservatives". They don't allow him to do much, and definitely are not for tattoos or body modifications. If he could, he would get a tattoo on his wrist of Maxine's name, but also worries about the fact of their on and off relationship if getting a tattoo would be the best idea.

Yes, a double-edged sword is definitely the right words for this young lad. He is constantly flipping back and forth between his two sides, not because he is bipolar or anything, but because he is easily set off. When Marcus is happy, he is a fun-loving, romantic, easy-going and the ideal guy you would want to be friends with or be in a relationship with. With a joking personality, he knows the perfect thing to say to break the ice of any situation. Smooth-talker, no doubt. He loves to make jokes, and does so constantly, but knows exactly where to draw the line. You see, some situations are made for a good crack of a joke, but others are too serious for some knock-knock pun to heal.

Oh, how this kid is the hopeless romantic. He brings his lucky lady flowers just for the hell of it, plans simple picnics under the stars, pitches up unannounced at her house to give her something special. Once in love, Marcus is a hard one to shake off. While he isn't clingy, he values loyalty and hates it when he sees Maxine flirt with other guys. Despises it, in fact. Often times, Marcus breaks it off with Maxine to show to her she can't just go around flirting and still have the commitment of a doting boyfriend. It doesn't last long though. They end up just back where they started. Whenever they are apart, Marcus's mind weaves an intricate maze of why they should not be together. But the moment he sees her again, any doubt crumbles. They are disfunctional, but he hopes its worth it.

When Marcus is set off, he is a raging bull. Angry, loud, screaming, scary. He says anything that comes to mind, and most of the time it doesn't work out well for him. While he has never hit Maxine, the things he has said in the depth of the fights are worth a thousand wounds. He tries so hard not to be hot-headed that its almost painful. Every time he says something mean during an argument, he feels terrible. But Marcus really just can't stop. Maxine makes him so angry. So angry he can't stop himself. Yet she makes him so happy he can't help but going back for more. In addition to fighting with Maxine, whenever someone says something like "sl*t" or "wh*re" about Maxine, he flips. Quite a few times he has gotten reprimanded or injured from fights over his girlfriend. He doesn't get angry over what people say about him, a but s ingle wrong word about Max and he is a loose cannon. Unforgiving, definitely. By all means, Marcus Luxe is a loose cannon.

Really, this boy has nothing to complain about in life. He has a perfect up-bringing, minus the early conflicts due to his conservative parents, and has a happy family. He was the second eldest child in the bunch of kids his parents had. His mother, Lilly Allan-Luxe, and his father, Mitchel Marcus Luxe, were a high-school sweetheart couple. His mother is a bank accountant, and his father is the owner of a successful public relations corportation for celebrities. They got married at the age of 23 after practically eight years together, and Meredith gave birth to her first child, Lisa Allison Luxe, two years later. Once Lisa was born, Lilly and Mitchel decided to start a tradition. All male children would have their name begin with an M and all female children would have their name begin with an L. When Marcus was born, three years after Lisa, he was given the name Marcus because of Mitchel's middle name. Five years after Marcus was born, little Lilia Angel Luxe was born.

She was quite a beautiful little baby, if it wasn't for the fact she weighed three pounds when she was born. Lilia Angel Luxe was a miniscule baby, and immediatly had to go on life support. She didn't last very long, and died exactly a week after she was born. For three years after that, the mother of the Luxe family was depressed. Almost suicidal. She was quite clingy to her children, and was upset that her child had died. When she fell pregnant again, the terror set in. For a good four months, Lilly didn't seem excited she was pregnant. Fearful, if you will. She didn't give the unborn fetus a little nickname such as "Shrimp" or "Peanut" like she did for Marcus and Lilly. She didn't let her husband or children touch her pregnant stomach. She didn't grow attached to the child at all. When the baby girl was born, Lilly named her Lucia Abigail. Lucia Abigail grew up strong, and is definitely a the best out of the three children, no matter how ironic that is.

Last year, Lisa had a pregnancy scare. She fell pregnant only in her second year of college, and her parents were anything but approving. When she wanted to get an abortion, they threatened to disown her. Terrified of the consequences of being a disowned and poor mother, Lisa "chose" to keep the child and now raises her with the father, Ashton Umbrid, in LA. They visit the family often, and now that the baby was born a few months ago, Lilly and Mitchel Luxe are a little more welcoming of their failure of a daughter. Lisa had been studying psychology and was going to be a therapist, but now is a mother of her little baby named Leena. Marcus is the only one in the family who didn't totally shut Lisa out for the first six months of her pregnancy. In fact, he called her often and was accepting towards her despite his parents' disapproval. Even now, when his parents make snobby comments about Lisa and Ashton not being married, Marcus defends his sister.

Marcus's little sister, Lucia, is the "best" of the three children. While Marcus is smart, he is nothing special. Lucia, now being 14 years old, is crazy intelligent, amazingly beautiful, an prized track runner, and a social butterfly. Lilly and Mitchel practically worship Lucia, and give Marcus their second thought. Marcus doesn't really care though. They care enough about him to let him go to college and be a football player like he wishes as well as pay for his tuitin, but not enough to come to all his games. Oh well, after this summer Marcus doesn't have to worry about his parents anymore.

Yes, exactly so. Marcus and Maxine have been dating for a good length of time now, and they are a "happy" couple for the most part. Marcus loves being with Maxine, and she is one of the most serious girlfriends he has had in the past. Right before he dated Maxine he had a relationship with June. When he broke it off with June for Maxine, it added to the growing tension between the two apparent besties {June and Maxine}. He was pretty serious with June, but no where near as in love with her as he is with Maxine. While the two of them both have their off days, they are practically a perfect couple. Passionate and going strong.

Maxine Elizabeth Delaroux
Maxine was named after her mother's mother, whom died long before she's even seen the light of day. The woman had been great; a nurse in the first World War, Maxine { the grandmother } was a kind and caring soul, with fiery determination burning in her soul. Her mother wanted to honor her own mother, so. . . There you go. Elizabeth was Max's father's mother's name, which has been passed down to her as well. Elizabeth had been an artist and still paints to this day; mostly small commissions or gifts. As for 'Delaroux'? Pronounced day-lah-roo, the name appears to have a rather French origin. It's been in the family for generations; she plans to keep it that way, too.

Seventeen
"Nearly an adult! Oh, wait. That sucks." It was a warm summer's day on July 17th when Maxine Elizabeth was born. She was a small newborn, only five or six pounds at most. The little baby had a head full of golden curls and eyes the color of the purest ivory green; the light of her parent's lives, for sure. Well, for those few moments, of course. Her siblings were important as well, but it's your typical situation of sibling rivalry - it's not important to get into at the moment. The girl grew into a sweet, energetic toddler, then an active, sporty preteen, and finally a cruel, horrible teenager. She then morphed into the confused, lost young lady she is today. Near her sixteenth birthday she began these horrid addictions; it went all down-hill from there.

ＧＥＮＤＥＲ．

Quite obviously Max is a female. She hates questions like these for obvious reasons, and often gets very defensive when anybody thinks of her otherwise. Some people { the stupid ones } tell her that she's 'one of the guys'. Come on. Have you seen this chick? She's about as feminine as you can get.

ＤＥＳＣＲＩＰＴＩＯＮ．

Simple
Many things have been stated about Max's appearance. Stunning. Ugly. So-So. Nothing special. Beautiful. In all honesty, Max doesn't give a damn what you think. She's simply. . . herself. Standing at five feet, seven inches { 5'7 } and weighing one-hundred and twelve pounds { 112 lbs. }, Max is perfectly normal. Too normal, in her opinion; she always wishes that she were a bit thinner, a bit taller. . . Of course this is absolutely ridiculous. She's already horribly underweight, but it just is never enough. Her bones are structured to give the girl a curvy appearance. They did their job well, huh? Her skin is the color of rich honey; just the right amount of tan to balance out the light. She looks like your typical California grl, really. Her hair, though once light and curly, is now a multitude of colors. Light brown and a dirty blonde start at her roots, gradually lightening to a pale blonde at her ends. It's fairly thick, though not the longest of the bunch; it falls around the end of her bust in loose waves. Many say her eyes are their favorite part of her on a whole. Max's eyes are the rare green color. Soft and pale, they express nearly every emotion that crosses her mind. Of course, she's learned how to keep them concealed pretty well, but she's not perfect. Her eyes are truly the windows to her soul. She's pretty, really, and lets everybody know it. Always. Believe me.

ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ．

Trapped
Max { in a word } is trapped. Nothing seemingly restrains this born-to-be wild child; never has or will. She comes from a lineage of 'populars' and 'jocks'; the Deleroux family has always been on top. No doubt about that. Born into a fast-track family, Maxine was thrown into a world of parties and money. Easy living is all she has ever known and, to her hope, will be all she knows. Her father is a big-time music producer, her mother a popular name in the fashion industry, so this practically ensured for the blonde to be spoiled rotten. Yet, something always troubled this free-spirited youth. Being the youngest of four, Max was always overshadowed by the talents and achievements of her siblings. Alexandria {22} is beautiful; she got into he modeling buisness as soon as she turned 12. Conner {20} had a garage band that was suddenly discovered and is currently working on their newest CD. Scarlett {19} has the most beautiful voice. Max couldn't help but feel left out in their unusually artisticly talented family. Her parents were so proud of her siblings and would rarely even ask if she was doing okay, let alone asking her what she had been doing at all; it made her angry yet determined to make them proud. She devoted her time to climbing to the top of the social ladder, not caring who she stepped on along the way. The desire to make her parents proud was too much; Max let it consume her, turning this once-playfully funny,

easy-going girl into someone she would have once hated to be. It's not that she's living in a lie, though. She still uses her jokes and dry humor, but in such a way that it can cut somebody at their knees. She isn't afraid to turn into a bitch to get what she wants. But, then again, this wasn't how Max origionally was raised. If you get past all of the unsatisfactory qualities of Maxine, you'd find that she's actually a very good listener. Her heart, though now coated with pride and anger, is still in the right place. Actually, she can be pretty sypathetic and sweet if you really, really dig deep, but, to her intence dissapointment, nobody has had the patience to even try to do so. So, instead of acting the way most would want her to act, Max acts like a spoiled, anger-driven bitch. Well, what do you expect? Nobody has given her the time of day, so why should she even bother giving other people what she had been so deprived of all her life? Whe she finally made her way to the tip-top of the food chain, she finally felt a sense of pride and acceptance. She would never do anything differently { she says in her mind, of course }. Deep inside, though, Max hates what she has become. She never wanted to be this way but figured that there was no going back, so why even bother changing? This is who she was now. But, to be truthful, all this girl ever wanted was to make her parents believe that she wasn't a failure. If that were the case, Maxine wouldn't even believe she'd be at the top of the school. She'd just be happy with who she is. And, at this point? She isn't happy. At all.

ＲＥＬＡＴＩＯＮＳＨＩＰ．

In a relationship with Marcus.
Max hasn't had the easiest time with love. For such a super fun, peppy girl { //intended sarcasm } all the good guys don't seem to be interested in her. Only the jerks. This blonde has been broken-hearted and used too many times for her to easily trust another man, though she's willing to give it a go. Relationship-wise, she isn't the best. Commitment is hard for this one - always has been. Love is just. . . hard. That's all there is to it. She's firmly bi-sexual; Max has no real preference. She thought of herself as lucky when she met Marcus. She'd never been cared for like that; it was different. Nice, even.

Daota Is a rather charming young man who Is known for having the tousled hair that never seem's to be perfect, which gives him the rugged appearance. His hair Is dark brown, and naturally has It's little touch of the wind. He'll never ever put hair gel In It, and would kill anyone who tries to mess with it. No matter how hard he tries he can never do much with It, Its a lost cause. Cody has a nice build and Is quite the athlete. Running, Biking, and some sports- you name It. He has a nice tone, a slight tan, and a good figure. He's always outside, so the tan's are natural- and unlike some guy's he won't waste his time in a tanning booth

Emerson Is first noticed by his light blue/grey eyes. They're more grey than blue but flecks of light blue dot his eyes and always leave a little mystery. His cheek bones a slight more intoned and noticeable then most men, and even though they're rather feminine he doesn't care. The thought never really occurred to him, actually.He's about average height, and the last time he checked he weighed around 200Ilbs- and he refuses to ever go over that. It's not fat- muscle if anything. True, he doesn't really like to expose himself fully- as In he doesn't wear tight clothes, and he doesn't try to go shirtless every chance he get's

His style Is always changing, but whatever It Is is always something on the darker and more casual side. Vintage here and there, and then maybe you'll just catch him wearing whatever ensemble he can pull from his closet that look's okay. He's not a really picky kind of person, and anything that looks okay will do for the day. He'll go shopping maybe every once and a while, but there's not guarentee what he'll find

"I've been called adorable, I just don't see It." To put this out flatly, Cody Is infact one of the sweetest and most caring guys anyone will ever meet. From the start you can tell he's just generally nice and open, and that his expression normally stays neutral. Of all things to call Cody, fun is defiantly one of them. This, my friend, Is the idiot who will go around Wal-Mart wearing a fake mustache and sunglasses just to buy a stuffed animal- a penguin stuffed animal to be exact. You could call the guy childish, but I believe naive is a better choice. True: He loves kids to death and normally watches kid movies- buttt... He does know of the things, the bad things, that do happen out there. Its not that hes uncomfortable about talking about it or anything, its just that he's not one to every bring something like that up

"I know im oh so attractive and dashing, but please honey- shut your mouth- you'll catch flys." Cody has quite a sense of humor- and projecting himself broadly is one of his many acts. He's often found pranking people or just flatly joking around. The guy has never ever been caught in the act aswell, which is why he's been known as 'The Ninja'. Cody can be a bit nerdy at times, but not to where he knows the square root of 546 or something ridiculous. He's just creative and thinks in another mind-set. He normally wear's fake glasses as 'Hispters' would wear, and the hat that says 'Nerd' on the top.

"Such a pretty face... Oop's- sorry I was looking in the mirror." At times he can be a little vain, just a little, and will be seen playing with his hair in the mirror- trying to fix it out. On another note, though, he rarely cares about what he wear's. It's a big selection, and normally goes to basketball shorts and a tank-top. No, the guys not that strong or athletic- but yes, he has a huge profession in surfing and running track- so his build is based on physical excercise with the outdoor's- not being stuck in some gym lifting weights or running on a tread-mill. He likes the open air, and Is not one to be cooped in. He doesn't take things for granted and lives it up to its worth- thus explaining his converse that have practically fallen apart

"How can you stay mad at this face?" Cody is just that kind of person you can never stay mad at. Sad, and kinda funny actually, that he tries to find forgiveness with humor. It is true that if he Is mad at you, world destruction might take place- because this guy is really hard to p*ss off. He's not exactly a fighter- physically that Is. But he sure as h*ll isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. Though he'd never admit anything mean or offensive to your face, directly, he sure as heck would tell just about anyone else. He's not much of a complainer, but if a topic arouses he'll be sure to get his word put in

Dakota was born and raised on a little house on a farm with his wealthy parent's. He grew up in the brightest, most cheerful and blissful places to grow up for a child of young a age. It was the nice old South, as his father would call It, but to Cody It would forever be known as his true home. His home was located In a small town In Louisiana- a name he had forgotten simply because he moved at a young age. Only at the age of eight did he move, and boy was It a transition. Talk about switching from a laid-back lifestyle to a bustling and busy life In New York. His father had a job transfer, and It wasn't something he could easily say no to. So they packed there bag's and went there way. It was just Cody, his mother and father, and there little yorkie- Scout.

Dakota grew up In the wealthier place In New York City, and found himself liking the business and bustle. He himself never really liked all the noises but In all honesty It didn't affect him. He became adapted to his surroundings and was soon acclimated to the cold temperatures that was provided, he had just been so used to the warm weather, so change was difficult. At the age of seventeen he graduated Highschool, and not one month after he graduated he turned eighteen. Currently he's being expected to head out for college, something he's not so ready for. His parent's want him to become a family man, which he cannot see to happen anytime soon- mainly because he cannot even keep a goldfish alive. So as to say, change was hard for him- but for everything it took some time for adjustment. But he made it out alive.
