It's the night of the reaping and hundreds of children from the age of twelve to eighteen are standing in groups waiting for the tributes to be chosen. An adult is standing up on the stage with a glass bowl sitting beside her with all the names of one gender, the same on the other side. They dip their hand into the bowl and take one name out. Their mouth opens and it's the worst of all- they say your name.
