Maypaw pricked her ears as she sensed a dog. "Dog!'' she yelped. Honey slipped through the trees with Brutus beside her. "Hello!'' she meowed. Brutus watched Maypaw and Mosstail.

Mosstail gasped."CRAZY PHYSCO CAT AND KILLER DOG!!!!!!"she shouted and ran up the tree

Maypaw growled at Honey and Brutus. I can't climb trees! she thought. Honey looked hurt. ''He's not a killer.'' she meowed. ''And I'm not Physco''

"Well then why do you think you can talk to dogs?" Mosstail accused from up her tree

Honey growled. ''Any cat can do it if they want to!" she snarled. Brutus growled, angry with Mosstail for upseting Honey.

Mosstail kept climbing up the tree. "In your dreams mouse-brain!" she shouted down

MayPaw whimpered as Brutus growled, then started clawing at the tree MossTail was in. Honey snarled. ''I can climb!'' she hissed, scrambling up the tree next to MossTail. "And Brutus isn't in a very happy mood, if you happened to fall''

"Oh gosh" Mosstail said, shifting her weight on the branch. Suddenly the tree seemed to rock back and forth, but it was only her imagination. She shouted and twisted her paws around the tree to stay secure on the only current safe place in her mind.
