...just gonna drop Bandit in here out of nowhere...]
Bandit prowled along the edge of a building, trying to locate the exact location of that mouthwatering smell. She was drooling just thinking about what it could be. It was a bit tangy and meaty and it just made her stomach rumble worse than ever. It'd been growling constantly for as long as she could remember, but it was nearly roaring now. Finally, she found the trash can it was coming from. With a crash, she jumped into the can and knocked it over. The soft trash cushioned her fall but the unexpected impact left her stunned for a moment. She tore into the bag and shoved her nose in, ripping it further. Drool nearly dripped from her mouth as she pulled out a piece of chicken with sauce on it. Immeditely she began to gulp it down.

{Thank you. c: I think I'll drop a cat next to Bandit.}

"Hey! Thirteen cried out indignatly as a cat - the nerve! - jumped into the trashcan she'd been drowsing behind. "Can't you see I'm sleeping? Well, I was. Trying to, anyway. It's really noisy over here, with all the dogs and bad stuff, you know? Mama always said to stay away from bad stuff." Thirteen trailed off, staring into the distance. "Wait, I'm supposed to be mad! Hey, you! Don't be so noisy!" The tiny black-and-white cat jumped to her feet, staring at the much larger she-cat. "Hey, hey! You look familiar...Bandit, is that you?"

The sudden voice from the trash caused Bandit to jump a little. Eyes wide and fur puffed up she bristled, bearing her sauce-smeared fangs. When she heard her name, though, she let her fur flatten. That black and white cat looked familar. Mouth full of chicken, looked at the cat in shock. "Firfeeng?" she meowed, the food muffling her voice. Realizing that sauce and chewed up chicken was dribbling from her mouth, the she-cat blushed and swallowed quickly. "Mmm, sorry..." she muttered, looking at her paws for a moment before brightening up. "Thirteen! Wow, it's been a while!"

Thirteen's face brightened. It was Bandit! "Hi, Bandit," she said shyly. Even if they were friends, or at least the little she-cat hoped they were, it had been a long time. "I remember losing you. I'm sorry." Thirteen said sorrowfully. Mama had always said to stick close to your enemies. Thirteen didn't know what that word meant, but it had a nice sound to it, like friends did. "I missed you."

[I forgot how mmuch I loved Thirteen x3]

Bandit smiled fondly at Thirteen. Even though she could be annoying at times there had always been a sweet quality about the cat. The word innocent came to mind but, from what she'd heard from Tannaheare, a cat that had been raised by Mama couldn't exactly be innocent. And, if Tannaheare wasn't lying, Thirteen was probably the least innocent of the group of cats that Mama had been in command over. That group including Strike. Bandit had to shake her head to stop herself from getting choked up. The last time she'd seen her sister was ever farther back in time than the last time she'd seen Thirteen.

Bandit regained her composure and stopped thinking about her sister, instead turning her attention to Thirteen again. With a measure of fondness she laid her tail on the she-cat's back for a moment. "I missed you too, hun." she purred. "How are you?"

{Well, Thirteen loves you too, Fridgy.}

Thirteen blinked up at Bandit, tipping her head to the side. The other she-cat looked distant for a minute before she shook her head. "I'm good. I was sick a little while ago, like really sick," she gave an exagerated sneeze. "Mama always said to keep on going even if you were sick, so I did and now I'm better." Thirteen beamed at Bandit. "How're you? Did you have any fun adventures?"

Bandit looked at Thirteen with sympathy. "Aww, being sick is awful. I got sick once from something I ate...ugh, it was awful. I could hardly move for a few days. I swear, I nearly died." Bandit shook her head. "I'm glad you're feeling better, though." The she-cat cocked her head at Thirteen's question. "Adventures? Not really." A thoughtful look crossed her face. "Well, kinda. I had a run in with a little kid the other day. He managed to pick me up and tke me into the house. God, it was scary." Bandit shivered, "But I managed to escape through a window. I could've sworn I'd heard a dog barking in the backyard too. Me and dogs, we really don't get along well."

"That's no fun." Thirteen stuck her tounge out at Bandit's recounting of her sickness. Her green eyes steadily widened during the story, until they were perfectly round. "Y-you were in a house? How scary! Mama told me to never, never, ever, ever go inside a house. I'm glad the dog didn't eat you, Bandit. Then we couldn't be friends anymore. But at least you'd have gone to The Happy Place. Then you could say hi to Mama for me." She trailed off, staring into the distance. "But don't do that yet."
